Too many to choose from! and all with great significance! Well If I had to choose I would choose Walk Through The Fire, it was beautiful. The Harmony and lyrics were great, and I'm not sure which song it was. But I love the funny lyric Willow sang, which I believe was 'I think these lines are mostly filler'. Not that funny, but I found it hilarious in the situation...

Also, Under Your Spell was magnificent. Not only were the lyrics and how they sang it together, but their charisma and overall air about them. Loved it :D

SHe may not be, but since she has like not singing parts i think she is, and i think i saw that too, but way before the "once more with feeling came out" i thought it was just behind the scenes of buffy.

I've always liked ASH's singing voice, but he truly shines with the songs he performs in this episode. Amber Benson's singing voice is also quite lovely.

Walk Through the Fire..... When I first saw the eppie it was definitly my favourite! I found the whole cast emsemble singing just really awesome and somehow the visuals they used in the show just added to the "whoa" factor.

Under your spell was actually my least favourite song from OMWF. I just really didn't like it! I don't know why but Ambers voice is not one that I really liked, there were parts in other songs that i liked but overall her voice just wasn't for me.

I wasn't that thrilled with "Under Your Spell" either. It seems to have been a personal favorite of JOss Whedon himself, at least from his comments that I've heard. I don't know, I have to tread carefully here but I thought the song was sort of unfinished. And it may be a love piece, but when you know the story the theme of the song darkened by the fact that Tara is literally under Willow's spell when she sings it.

I was impressed with Amber Benson's voice in the other numbers, her duet with Anthony Stewart Head, and the aforementioned "Walk Through the Fire" ensemble. And then in the closing number "Where Do We Go From Here" I believe it's AB singing the high pitched harmony. Her voice has an impressive range.

"Rest in Peace" was DEFFINATELY my favorite. James has such a good voice and the way Spike's character was it fit perfectly and revealed the conflict he was having inside with Buffy's actions and I think it was Coreographed very well with the liquor bottle smashing against the wall, the whole "rest in peace" action Spike did on the coffin...and the extreme chemistry between Spike and Buffy. :in_love: GREAT PEICE!!!

I voted for "Standing" as I think that was such a beautiful song, establishing Giles' decision to leave as well as his desire to be a surrogate father for Buffy. I also haven't seen it get many votes which doesn't surprise me as it's probably one of the shortest.

Secondly, it would have to be "Under your Spell" as I believed Tara and Willow's relationship to be extremely sweet and textured. It also foreshadows Willow's deceit because Tara is "Under her Spell" due to the Lethe's Bramble Amnesia spell.

Then "Rest in Peace" would come a close third followed by "Going Through the Motions", "I've Got a Theory", "I'll Never Tell", "Walk Through the Fire", "Where do we go from Here" and then the rest in no particular order.

Naturally, I wanted to vote for "Rest in Peace," but I decided to try and be unbiased. So I narrowed it down to "Going Through the Motions" and "I'll Never Tell" because they seem to really embody the showtune-y musical theme. Joss referred to "Going Through the Motions" as the "I want" song like you find in your Disney classics, and I can totally appreciate that comparison. So anyway, I went with "I'll Never Tell" because it's just fun. It's very well written, and Nick and Emma did amazing work, even if Nick does claim that he couldn't dance. :-)

I'll have to agree with the first poster. Spike's "Rest in Peace" was completely within character of Spike and I loved the classic dead pose on top of the coffin he did. Him getting in Buffy's face was just great.

Then "Walk Through the Fire" for not only the harmonies but also because it signifies that even though all these relationships are falling apart, the group knows they have to band together and stop the musical madness.

Finally, I thought "I'll Never Tell" was great just for the hilarity. Plus seeing Anya in her skivvies... :whistle:

Well, it depends. In every version, they have her sing "You made me comp--" then they smash cut to Buffy and Xander in the Magic Box to ruin the mood. So if that's what you're talking about, then yes, they do that in every version.

But if you're saying they bleeped over some stuff, I'd guess they deemed it too "saucy." Because the end of the song does give detailed implications of...uhh...witchy love.

Under Your Spell- Amber Benson's voice is so beautiful in this song.

Standing- I only started watching Buffy a few months ago and Giles was a favorite character almost instantly. I love his relationship with Buffy and I knew he was going to be leaving at the end of the next episode, so I was actually in tears by the end of this song. His voice is excellent and the topic of the song still gets to me each time I listen to it/watch the scene.

I also have to say the whole 'under your spell' scene... I just love Willow and Tara and the first time i saw that i was first of all enchanted by the song and Ambers amazing voice and then i just loved the whole rising part... thats just totally amazing! ha ha... not in a perverse way though!!!! I also thought the lyrics were amazing, the whole 'spread beneath my Willow tree' line... Classic! and also Oh so poignant and to the point, ha ha.

I also love the whole Line up part in Where do we go from here... the whole hands linking and then splitting, great chreography and also really cool!

I pretty much love them all!!!! ha ha.

It seems I'm in the minority but I've got to go with "I've got a Theory/Bunnies" You guys made Bunnies a whole seperate choice but I really think they go together. I love that its a fun song that includes the whole cast and Xander's part, "It could be witches,Some evil witches, which is ridiculous 'cause witches they were persecuted Wicca good and love the earth and women power and I'll be over here," and the look Tara and Willow give him, just priceless!

Really difficult to choose, but I picked Walk Through the Fire, because I saw that episode when it aired and actually remembered that song, not any of the others, when I saw it again years later. (And I mean, I remembered to the point that I could sing along.) Such a cool moment/song.

But in all honesty? I couldn't pick a second favorite, and it was almost impossible to pick a first. I love them all.

This is really hard for me. I love anytime Sweet sings and I will tell you that he is one sexy demon and I would go to his hell dimension anytime. With that being said my top two are definitely Under Your Spell and Rest In Peace. I love Tillow and I am not a huge Spike fan but I loved his song regardless.

My favourite is Standing. It's got great emotion, great lyrics, and Anthony Head, of course, is an awesome singer.

Rest in Peace, though, is right up there for similar reasons.

Haha, really? Whenever I play that or any of the other "Once More, With Feeling" songs on my laptop 'cause my headphones aren't there and everyone can hear it, no one knows where it's from. Well, except for my Buffy buddies, but there aren't a lot of those.

Well, I do in fact have my preferences, I'm not too kean on Sweet's songs and other singing people we've never seen on screen before.
But from the main cast songs it's really hard to pick any favourites. They are all so awesome. And you get so used to them all after watching the musical (or listening to the soundtrack) gazillion times.
