Hey, this is my first post on buffy boards. I agree with Faith, I like Dead End best: "I just can't seem to control my evil hand!" and "ooh, that's gonna hurt in the morning".

does anyone know if lindsey's ever gonna to come back?

and in through the looking glass, does anyone know if that really is joss whedon doing the joy and honour dances in the background?

I chose the finale because it was great,the fight with Groo,the new member of the team-Fred- and also Willow at the end of the episode and how Angel reacts to seeing her in LA and he knows that it means bad news about the love of her life

Okay, I may as well have just written out the Season list. :) I don't think an explanation is needed for each of them, and most of the reasons have been covered.

Guise Will Be Guise, The Shroud of Rahmon & Disharmony were the funniest ones, some great moments in there. Wesley as Angel. :D All the vampire rules, he came in before he was in invited so he jumps out, walks in again. The mirror, the cross, the blood. That one not so much funny, more incredibly gross. :) Angel with his Jay-Don impression, endless quotes there. And Disharmony, well that was just a funny episode as a whole. :) Love the scene, when the gang's walking, shoulder to shoulder, down the sidewalk outside of Caritas. The camera pans across from a serious and focused Wesley, to Gunn, to Angel, to Cordelia and then on to - a grinning Harmony. :D Cordy does a double take when she suddenly notices Harmony walking beside her.

Reunion & Redefinition are two great episodes. Like Lindsey McDonald, I was completely shocked when Dru walked through the door! :eek: Had no idea that was coming!

I'd like to have some more flashbacks to those good ol' days. Not nescessairily (Is that the correct spelling?) the '50s and not only Angel(us), just generally flashbacks with either Angel(us), Dru, Darla or Spike in any past time. Have we ever seen 'em in the 19th century?

Hah, I'll take the latter and say the season finale.
After watching Buffy die, and Angel rescue Fred right after, all in all knowing Buffy was moving to UPN, it was a *complete* shocker to see Willow at the end and Angel to say "..Buffy"

It was amazing. It was all speculation then to see how the networks would do a "crossover" the following season.

And I think Fred joining the group rounded out the cast nicely.

I liked the not-so subtle reminder of how strong an old vampire can be. Seeing Darla lift Angel off his feet at arms length was a rush, and both Julie and Juliet were absolutely brilliant in the acting department.

I don't remember the second season that well. I d oremember the episode that ends with Wesley saying, "We are the only thing standing between you and true darkness" and Angel replies, "You're right. You're all fired." It was just such a "wow" moment, I think it was "Redefinition" or the episode before. I am not positive. Angel letting al lthe lawyers get eatten as well was also great "I just can't seem to care". I do remember that the second season was pretty fantastic though, and I can't wait to get the DVDs and become reaqquainted with it.

Dead End was the best episode, mainly because of Lindsey. It was great the way he kept saying "Charlie!" to that guy. Not to mention his singing in Caritas and his great character moment with Angel at the end. I'm glad Lindsey came back for the Matrix-esque fight with Angel in "You're Welcome", but I feel it undermines the quality ending of this episode.

I liked a lot of the episodes in that season, but I just had to pick Epiphany because of Angel's discullion with Kate at the end:

Night. Kate and Angel are sitting side by side outside in the garden court of the Hyperion.

Kate: I feel like such an idiot.

Angel: A lot of that going around.

Kate: I just couldn't... - My whole life has been about being a cop. If I'm not part of the force it's like nothing I do means anything.

Angel, still looking pretty beat up: It doesn't.

Kate: Doesn't what?

Angel: Mean anything. In the greater scheme or the big picture, nothing we do matters. There's no grand plan, no big win.

Kate: You seem kind of chipper about that.

Angel: Well, I guess I kinda - worked it out. If there is no great glorious end to all this, if - nothing we do matters, - then all that matters is what we do. 'cause that's all there is. What we do, now, today. - I fought for so long. For redemption, for a reward - finally just to beat the other guy, but... I never got it.

Kate: And now you do?

Angel: Not all of it. All I wanna do is help. I wanna help because - I don't think people should suffer, as they do. Because, if there is no bigger meaning, then the smallest act of kindness - is the greatest thing in the world.

Kate: Yikes. It sounds like you had an epiphany.

Angel: I keep saying that. But nobody's listening.

Kate: Well, I'm pretty much convinced, since I'm alive to be convinced.

Angel: You know you don't have to be a cop to be...

Kate: I'm okay. - Anyway, I'm *not* headed towards another pillathon. - I'm very grateful. - I never thought you'd come for me, but... I got cut a huge break and I believe... - I don't know what I believe, but I - have - faith. - I think maybe we're not alone in this.

Angel: Why?

Kate: Because I never invited you in.

This has to be my absolute favorite conversation in all of Angel, and shows how easy it is to be caught up in looking at the big picture, paralyzing us to do any real good where we are. Its the philosephy that kept Anne going even through the end of Angel, and the loss of that mission in several seasons of Angel that led to general badness.

This was SO hard to answer!

However, I finally sucked it up, and voted for "Disharmony". (I was really torn between this episode, and the one where Darla becomes a vampire again, because to me, she was an amazing character in Season Two, and I liked D/A here.)

BUT! "Disharmony" was frickin histerical!

The highlights for me where:

- "Why don't you pick me up one of those 'sorry you got shot in the gut boquets?"

- Cordy singing the "Oh Cordelia, who I wanna feeeel ya" song.

- Harmony telling Cordy and Cordy thinking she was a lesbian.

- Cordelia and Willow talking.

- Angel and Wesley barging in.

- Gunn flirting with her until he found out Harmony was a vampire.

- Harmony spitting her gum into Wesley's book page.

- The "car guarder".

- The end, where Cordy can't stake Harmony.

- The clothes dance.

I would've really liked to see Harmony be a full character on Angel. One of the team like she had, originally planned on.

I like Through The Looking Glass, although it was a tough choice between Are You Now Or Have You Ever Been? which I also really like. My favorite part in Through The Looking Glass was, "Do the dance of shame!" and "Do the dance of joy!" I sat there laughing for about five minutes as the guy just dances around like a fool in the background. I think I have to go watch that again, I can't remember.... this episode is where the Groosalugg is introduced, right? Lorne gets his head cut off? Yep, my favorite.

I loved season two, some of the darkest entries in the verse, as well as some of the brightest.
The Host(he isnt Lorne until the end near as dammit) is at his best in this season, i love his character, i love his overall arc with the culmination of his pylea stiry, BUT i had to vote.....Guise will be Guise....Wesley is genius as Angel.....lol

I loved the one where Angel locks the lawyers in the wine cellar with Darla and Dru....I mean that was such a cool, yet very dark and somewhat disturbing character moment/transformation for Angel.

I also loved "Dead End".

This season didn't have many bad episodes at all but I think "Are You Now..." is an overrated episode.

Gotta be "The Thin Dead Line". The shades of grey stand out so well. They took an issue and didn't give a pat, simple answer (Because we all know those don't exist in the real world.). Plus, it was a Gunn centric episode.

OMG! I just saw Dead End and the final scene where angel says "Don't drive to fast now, there are alot of cops out tonight." Then you see him drive away and Angel has put a "Cops Suck" sign on the back of his truck :lmao: Not to mention Lindsey's Evil Hand Speech!!

I'll have to say "Reunion", but it's a toughy. There are about 4 perfect 10/10 episodes, imo!

Reunion because I love the evil pair of Darla and Drusilla. I love everything about their arc, and Angel's turn for the worse when he lets the lawyers die is truly scary. Everything that happened in this episode was fabulous.

I just watched Reunion!!!! I love how Lindsey didn't have any fear, and how Angel just let them all die. Hahahahaha!! "And yet somehow I just can't seem to care" hahahahaha Amazing episode!
Lindsey smiling through nearly every seen as everyone in the room is terrified, even Holland ahahahaha!! classic! I loved that they cut to Lindsey smiling then Darla biting Holland ^_^ lol!!

lol then the beginning of the next ep "I'm the only one left" hahahah!! yay Lindsey! then "We got a live one here..." "We do... :( " LOL!!
