So we have all these good things aobut the episode we liked the most but whihc ones did you guys not like.

I'd have to say the Pylea arc wasn't my faovirte part of the season so I guess I'll say the season finale it had some good stuff but it could have been a lot better I think. :)

So go ahead... rant ;)

god this was difficult.looking back over s2 it was so consistent.i went for happyt aniversary because the protaginist were quite weak characters and the whole idea was a bit contrived.

I hated the ep where Wes got shot. Not only because he was shot, but cause it was SO boring aside from that. "Oooh, i'm a dead zombie cop, oooh"

Buffy*n*Spike, that was "The Thin Dead Line" and I did not like it at all. Pretty boring if you ask me.

Angelus1, I agree as well, I did not like "Happy Anniversary" either. Even if Joss and David Greenwalt developed the story and Greenie did the teleplay, I just wasn't into that episode at all.

yep the series finale was really poor, but i have to make a point and say I HATE DARLA!!! thus me hating the whole darla arc! although it did gives the writers a good excuse to delve into angelus'/angels' past, i can't stand darlas character, she should have stayed dead when angel staked her the first time thus not ever having the conner storeyline which would, as i detest that, work out just fine for me.! series 3 not the best series so far! (although the cordy/angel storyline is cute)!

Ohh... that hit me hard! Well you have your own opinion and thats what counts.
I have not seen the other half of Season 2, i have seen the first half and i enjoyed all the episodes, although my fave has to be the episode 'Darla' all about my fave character, what more could i ask for?

The Thin Dead Line - stupid reason really, but wes got shot and i was devastated. plus the zombies were annoying, and that guy... can't remember his name, but the one that was causing trouble at anne's shelter. he was so stupid and irratating. but poor wes....
love cordy xx xx

Thin Dead Line creeped me out because of it's similarities to the Night of the Living Dead. But I voted for Redefinition just because Angel was pretty boring and irritating in that episode.

As for "The Thin Dead Line" that just freaked me out! I've hated zombies ever since "The Evil Dead"! ::disturb:

Well, I kinda liked The Thin Dead Line. I mean, yah, it was boring the first time I watched it. But the second time around it seemed really good. I dunno, maybe it's just me. *shrug*

Personally, I couldn't stand First Impressions. Gunn's character was so bland back then, and I just couldn't stand the storyline. The only good part was that it had Cordy in her awesome, long hair. ;)

I think that all those eps were greatly written, but "Blood Money" wasn't that interesting.

I think my least favourite would have to be The Shroud of Rahmon.

I liked the Shroud of Ramon!
Thought there were some really funny bits!
When Cordy finds that room in the museum and starts admiring her teeth!
When Angel acts like the vamp's biggest fan!

I loved it! It was hilarious! :D

12-30-2003, 01:26 PM
for me it's a bit of a harder sell.
I didn't like any of the eps in S2 where angel was an ass,
redefinition
blood money
the thin dead line
reprise,

the only one in those i DID like was
Happy Aniversary, because Lorne was in it
And we should all know by now, I like Lorne

slayerangel
12-30-2003, 01:36 PM
"Happy Anniversary" was not weak. It was just a filler ep. Joss wrote it to get the arc moving along a tiny bit... IMO, "Redefinition" isn't weak either; it explores Angel's dark side.

I'd go with "Blood Money" or "The Thin Dead Line."

Magui
12-30-2003, 02:40 PM
Bood Money isn't a very good ep neither,...it would be my second choice

ana8
12-30-2003, 02:47 PM
I kinda liked Blood Money....

The last set of Pylean episodes were weak compared to the thrilling Darla/Dru and W&H story of the beginning of the season.

Lilah

A lot of people do not like the Pylean arc, I happened to love it a lot!

Me too..It was great....and I love Fred...

Lilah
01-01-2004, 02:28 PM
Fred was only meant to appear in that Pylean arc. Glad it became a regular thing, I love her. :):):)

ana8
01-01-2004, 02:36 PM
She's great and therefor Pylea arc was great..

Allycat
01-01-2004, 04:00 PM
The Pylean arc was kewl, but it didn't have those dark mind games which the W&H arc did.

ana8
01-01-2004, 04:05 PM
But it brought us Fred...

Allycat
01-01-2004, 04:41 PM
So, not such a big deal, they could've gotten her in another way.

However, now I think about it, no Pylea, means no Numfar... you got me, I'm pro-Pylea now!

02-01-2004, 04:43 PM
I would have to go with Happy Anniversay. Its just the stopping time plot that put me off, the rest (eg Lorne and Angel) was great.

Plyea was alright, had it's good and bad moments. Was nice to see another dimension in full. Something completly different, dunno why but it reminded me of Star Wars, the planet with the Ewoks (there goes my memory!)

Judgement was pretty crappy IMO, especially for a season opener...

The episode in the 50s in the Hyperion bored me so much. So I voted it. I liked the season finale though, i see a lot of others didnt! I thought it was a nice change.

I disliked The Thin Dead Line. Pretty boring, the teen shelter eps weren't very good.

Cordelia
10-27-2004, 06:38 PM
Blood Money wasn't that bad, not my fave though. I just like the scenes with Wes & Cordy on the video tape.

My least fave would have to be Happy Anniversary.

Emma Caulfield
11-27-2004, 11:05 AM
Ugh! Thin Dead Line! HATED IT! I didn't like the zombie cop idea and Wes getting shot by one really ticked me off!

Edgeoforever
04-30-2005, 12:02 PM
I voted for Guise will be Guise - although Happy Aniversary was tempting. This last one was a filler barely advancing the plot, but at least didn't trample the characters like "Guise" - hence my choice.
The Wes conceit was poorly constructed and executed. The murderer/ guru impersonator was way too succesful at fooling Angel - both in the silly palaver and the combat. Not credible to the character or audience. A groaner almost, save for a few funny lines.

I think the one I really disliked was "Disharmony" it just didn't keep my attention at all I can't even remember what happened through most of it

07-05-2005, 10:00 AM
I voted Happy Aniversary- the one part I loved about that show was the Lorney&Angel funniness. Angel was just a jerk all around (ever since he fired his crew) and I wasn't happy with any of the episodes until Epiphany. My second least favorite is The Thin Dead Line- WES! :bluesad:

Croft Storm
07-05-2005, 12:49 PM
I completely liked every episode. I think this series of Buffy/Angel is the only one I can say that for (but not Firefly, they were all great).

But as I had to vote I went for The Shroud Of Ramon, nothing wrong with it, just nothing special happened in it. I wasn't a big gunn fan back then either. And I'm sure the plot had a few holes, or maybe I just didnt understand it completely.

Untouched, Blood Money, and Happy Anniversery. Those I could have lived without, but hey....I still watch them.

11-16-2005, 08:57 AM
I can't really think of one I didn't like in s2, they all were good in one way or another. If I had to pick something, I'd say Shroud of Ramon. Altho, that eppy has one of my favorite Angel moments (next to the dancing in She, LOL!) when he poses as the vamp from Vegas. Loved the suit and shades! Angel with a little color in his clothes....hmmmm!

RockManic
11-16-2005, 09:26 AM
I actually would be hard pressed to say that i disliked any episodes from season 2 but if i had to choose one i would go for First Impressions but only for the fact that it contained probably the worst looking demon in the history of either Buffy or Angel. The guys who design the demons for the show had a seriously off day that week! :D

SpikedBuffy

It was really hard to choose one that I really disliked. In the end, I chose Happy Anniversary, I think mainly because it really creeped me out.

Carousel Girl8

I chose Judgement but I also don't like Thin Dead Line and Happy Anniversary that much. I don't like Judgement cos I find it boring especially as a season opener.

I liked all of season 2 but my least favourite was The Shroud Of Ramon. But it was still a decent show.

09-01-2007, 10:01 PM
Surprised to see so much dislike for The Thin Dead Line, I thought it was a great ep.

Season 2 is probably my least favourite season out of all Buffy and Angel. It's not BAD, there's just something not quite right about it. Doesn't entirely work for me.

As for the worst... First Impressions, Untouched, Shroud of Ramon and The Trial were pretty lame.

codyw1
09-07-2007, 07:43 PM
I have to add: Redefinition. It's just awful. It wants to be dark and powerful, but it just comes across as being vaguely lame. Some of the dialogue - Angel's voiceover especially - is laughable.

I'm not a big fan of the whole Darla/W&H arc. It makes my eyes roll up in my head in sheer boredom. Many of the standalones in this season are terrific, but the central arc is just tedious for me.

hate Happy Anniversary that guy was just blah and thats what he gets for eavesdropping

buffetofsporks
10-24-2007, 05:47 PM
I would vote for 'Thin Dead Line', too, if it wasn't for the scene with Kate and Angel at her dad's grave.
So I voted for 'First Impressions' just because it didn't hold my interest for second, the guy at the stolen car lot's voice annoys the crap out of me, and that demon was WACK.

Nabila
11-14-2007, 07:48 AM
I was bored out of my skull watching First Impressions. There was too much of Angel dreaming of Darla, and I was falling asleep. I couldn't blame Cordy for being annoyed that he was sleeping too much. If she knew why, I think she would have staked him. lol

Keanoite
11-14-2007, 08:08 AM
I wasn't too fond of the finale, story wise, but it had some of my favourite Angel moments ever...Numfar was absolutely brilliant and the last shot is just too good..the look on his face and with two words he says it all "It's Buffy"...perfect.

VisionGuy
11-14-2007, 08:17 AM
This is actually my least favorite season. If I have to pick one episode, I pick Judgement. It just didn't seem like a season premiere to me. Although, the last scene with Faith was really good.

Happy Anniversary.

The episode was ridiculous and silly! The whole episode revolving around a man wanting to freeze sex!? What the hell?! You can't have that as a plot, imo! completely ridiculous. Luckily, there were some great Lorne parts, but that was all.
