Did you ever notice how if someone is serving Jellybeans in a candy dish, the yellow ones are always the last ones to go. I don't think most people like the yellow ones. Why don't they ever think to make Jellybeans without the yellow?
Similarly with canned fruit cocktail. Most people go for the cherries first, but there never are many cherries. Why not make a "mostly cherries" can of fruit cocktail. I know I'd buy it. I'd pay extra.
You know how there's been all those great Stephen King Television mini-series over the years like The Stand, The Langoliers, and It. Why don't they put together a whole season of those old classic Stephen King mini-series. Hell, I'd rather re-watch that than watch first runs of reality TV, or whatever the WB's got planned for fall.
Here's one I don't think is scientifically feasible, but I'm going to mention it anyway, because it seems to fit; You know how people like to smoke? You know how they shouldn't, because the tar and crap gets built up in their lungs?
OK, well apparently there's this new kind of bio-technology where they create little microbes that eat up stuff no-one wants. They're starting to use this technology to clean up stuff like toxic dumps and oil spills. The microbes eat up the bad stuff, and leave the good stuff behind.
So here's what I'm thinking. Why don't they build a microbe that like's tar and nicotine, then sic it on smoker's lungs? In this way people could smoke, and still be healthy.
I think thoughts like that sometimes. Do you ever think such thoughts? Thoughts that make you say "Why don't they do that?"
