okay ;) thanx you all for showing up. the firts lesson is:
hello: hallo
hey: hei
godbye: hadet(we do not sound the t in the end...)
how are you? hvordan går det?
this sentens in norwegian means how is it going.
How=hvordan
is it=det
Going=går
... så vi sota change the words around... (How going is it?)
if this was a bit hard. please tell me ;)
any perticular sentenses you want to be able to write in norwegian? any perticular words?
Buffy rocks! = Buffy ruler (we have alot of english words, that we say in a norwegian tone.. like BUFFY RULES!) to this sentense you can also say:
Buffy er skjef= Buffy is the boss.
Angel is Cute= Angel er søt.
er= is
Søt=cute.
Or if you want to call someone for a B I T C h... you can say DRITTKJERRING.
Dritt=s H I t or dirt
Kjerring= sort of a very bad form of woman... an old woman comes to mind... but you can use it on others as well(younger females)
You are so nice= du er så hyggelig
Du= you
er=is or are
så= so
Nice= hyggelig... thoug hyggelig is only one form of saying that someone is nice.
1.
you look so nice= du ser så hyggelig ut....
du= you
ser=look
Så=so
hyggelig= nice
ut= just an aditional word we might use...
in this sentense i'm telling someone that they seem nice, that they have a nice personality.
2.
You look so nice= du ser så fin ut.
du=you
ser=look
så=so
fin= nice or pretty.
ut= an aditional word we might use.
in this sentense i'm telling smeone that they look nice in the sense that they are dressed nice... or look pretty.
well, i hav heard that norweigan is one of the hardest laguishes to learn(next to japanese and chinese and so on...) and though i can't learn you guys to sound out the words, i can learn you to write down some things.... well, don't feel bad if you think all i say is wel BS! ;) and feel free to request me to teach you spesific sentenses in norwegian :elf:

Hej norske venner! Jeg skriver til jer fra Danmark. Jeg synes jeres idea er sjov. De dansk og norsk sprog er meget tæt på hinanden, så kan vi snakker sammen. Jeg er faktisk amerikansk, men jeg bor i Danmark og taler dansk. Vi ses!
