My favourite is the third one, like text in a banner. I think Kali is an evil deity from some Asian culture, Hera is ab Olympian God, Kronos the Titan of time, and tonic... a drink? Please, explain the words ;)

I dont have a clue what the text means. its from the spell Willow uses in "Tough Love". Although now I wanna know, so if i Find out ill put it here :)

I checked wikipedia, guess I was right to some extent

Kali - is (what we would consider) God, and a destructive, but also creative aspect of the 'Divine Mother.'
Hera - the Olympian Godess, sister to and married to leader of the Gods, Zeus. Godess of marriage. Ironically, her husband cheated on her all the time.
Kronos - in Greek mythology either the personofication of time or one of the Titans.
Tonic - is indeed a drink, but it could also refer to a drug. Moreover, in music, it's some kind of very special note... nothing mythic about it I can find though :(

You're good... you have a very unique style... I personally don't think it works in the Darth Rosenberg wallpaper, but the Slayers-wallpaper is so good I'm using it :D Really good work!

It's original; I'll give you that ;) ... I like the concept of the effect, but I don't think it fits with this particular theme... Godess Willow is white... and in the ep there's this white flash... which is lacking here I think... So, I'd prefer a white-theme... something that captures that moment.

I like the effect and I like the composition... but the two don't fit together IMHO.... but hey, that's what expiriments are for ;)

It's original... I'll give you that. I sorta reminds me of Roy Liechenstein's work. But truth be told, I'm not the biggest fan of this work... but it's always good to try different things, perhaps in another piece of fanart you can apply this technique and it may work out great. I am quite curious as to how you did this.

So all my other pics are down, which sucks, But I do have some interesting news. I printed off some of the better pics I did and brought them in with me to my Art class, I am preparing a portfolio ( I want to do graphic Design), And showed them to my Art teacher and people in school, they took some convincing that I did them, which I though was kind of cool :) Anyway she liked them so I can include them in my Portfolio, how cool is that, I have Buffy stuff in my portfolio, lol!

It's really simple, I was using Photoshop, you make the background and the foreground separate, like I made my background in a 370 by 146 sized document, and the foreground(River) in a separate document, then I created a new document, and you have to make it Transparent(It's one of the options on the new document page), I also made it 500 by 146 pixels, then I just pasted in the background and put in to the far right of the document, then pasted in river, and moved her around so her hand was sticking out of the background, then just save it as a "CompuServe Gif", when you click save as, then on web pages it is transparent!

I also like how you've used the ropes of the swing repeatedly on the River banner - nice idea, and I think you're right, it works better without the letters in the background! :D Less cluttered, and doesn't detract from the image of River.
