Site back up :)

After an exhausting near week of trying to get the site back up, it's finally done. I'm sorry for the down time. Our host threw us off the server because they said we were using too many server resources.

Anyway, at the moment I am still sortin the domain out, so this will be our temporary link. I hope to have this solved tomorrow (er...today). So anyway, tell your friends.

People will probably be trickling back here as the urls resolve, since they don't do that at the same time for everyone.

I will be emailing people when the buffy-boards.com url is working again though.

It seems to me that the board is running faster on the new server, so lets hope that is a sign of good things to come.

Thank you to everyone who posted on After-Darkness.com while the board was down. :)

Great to see the boards back - thanks for working so quickly to get everything back up and running!:D

On a personal note for me, it's even better on the new server as I now have no problems accessing AD or here, and no longer have to use Proxymouse to be able to view the forums! AOHell definitely must have been blocking the old server, plus there is also a noticeable change in page loading as as well, much quicker! :D

Hey! The BB is back! Glad we came back up here early now. My girlfriend's flat is just waaaay to cold at this time of year for me so i've talked her into splitting the time between here and down south, which means that i get to have an extra few days working as well as being able to check out this place too. All good! :D

Sorry I was going to email you and tell you that you might not need it - and glad to hear it's not just my imagination that the boards are faster.

So much for the people that said our previous host was "the best" lol. (Though I will say, despite all the crap they gave us, they were responsive and helpful in getting me the backups I needed, when they could have strung me along for a while.)

Anyone who's feeling generous to have BB back is welcome to donate to the site :D JK ;)

Well...the bright side of this whole ordeal is that more people now now about After-Darkness. However, I personally became more aware of the Buffy-Boards thanks to everyone going there are posting about it, and now I'm here! So miracles can happen out of bad things. :)
