Stepping Down [Archive]

The time has come for me to step down from the boards. I no longer have the time to devote to the boards and as of March I will be re-locating to London which means that i'll me gone for a little bit.

I'll stil be posting on the boards as normal member and I hate having to do this as this board is a huge part of me.

Sorry to hear that you won't be around as much, Faith. It's annoying when real life gets in the way of your online fun isn't it, lol!

I'm Sorry to hear about this! I definitely know what this feels like and it sucks, and I can only imagine how bad because you were a mod longer than I was. Sweetie, you are awesome and we will miss you around here as a mod...but at least you'll still be posting!!!

Aww! Sorry to hear you're not going to be a mod anymore (wow, I think you've been a mod for a lot if not all the time I've been a BBer!)

But, I'm really glad to hear that you'll still be posting around, even as a normal member (BB just wouldn't be BB without ya!). Have fun and good luck in London! :)

:( Faith, it's the end of an era and I'm really gonna miss my little Scottish buddy. I know it has to be done though and I'm proud of you for making such a difficult decision. You know something? London doesn't deserve you... and they better treat you well down there lest I kick their sorry butts!

I had started to reply to this earlier but we had a power cut in the office and I lost everything.

It sounds weird but I had forgotten just how many years i've been an admin on this forum and its been a long time. We've had some great times and some frustrating times (like that prime example you quote and I don't think any of us with ever forget that).

I've seen so many members come and go and of course a lot that have stuck with the boards.

We need to catch up soon hon, give my love the Andy :)

See, time just flies! Andy and I were just discussing this on our way into town, and worked out that the first incarnation of the forums must have been done around 1999/2000, as our youngest lad Jack was only a few months old, and he was born in Sept of 1999, so we've got to have known each other for 5 or 6 years now! :D It seems like a lifetime ago, doesn't it - so definitely the end of an era!

I think you were still in your teens back then Faith, *sighs* and I was still older than the pair of you 'lol' No change there then... :D

Goes to show it must of been a good few years though, as they went by so quickly!

Aww I left 4 years shy of my anniversary.

I think I was about 18 back then, and in my first year of University. I can't quite remember on the 'old' BB but I would say that I was staff for maybe a month prior to you Buffy, perhaps even less.

Now i'm going to be 25, and done with Uni, its so weird to think of all the stuff and all the late nights and early hours that we did. I was clearing out some old stuff and found that letter you and Andy sent me Sar...with all the glitter and stuff....remember that!

I remember one of you opened it over your keyboard, or in your bedroom and got everywhere covered with glitter 'lol' Pesky stuff gets everywhere, huh?! :D Aww, I also remember trying to keep up with everyone when me and Andy first had MSN, and there were so many of us in the convo, we did have some real god times, didn't we. :D Makes you wanna go back and do it all over. :D
