Okay, well, this is my first fanfic....hehe...here it goes...

I
The shrill sound of the alarm woke her up that morning. She was tired, as always, and did not feel like getting up at all. This was how all mornings were at the Joy-Reed South Pole Station she had stayed in for so many years. The girl, Bella, had been living there ever since birth with her ‘father’, who adopted her at an early age for reasons unknown to Bella, although she always assumed that the scientist was in need of a worthy assistant. But, as she thought about it a bit more, she realized that it didn’t make all that much sense for him to adopt her at such a young age. Nonetheless, she usually dropped the subject, keeping in mind how affectionate William was towards her.
The girl got up from bed and stood, staring outside through the window, watching the snow falling so heavily. This is Antarctica, she thought. Bella always wondered what it would be like to live in a ‘normal’ country, where snow meant celebration for all the children, and only more work for the adults. She looked back and started to head outside her room. On her way to the bathroom down the hall, she heard very odd sounds coming from the living room. Ignoring the task of brushing her teeth, she quickly headed down the stairs and followed the sound.
William sat, communicating via radio with a British man. “Rupert, tell me, how has this happened? That’s about several hundred girls! Full slayers? Damn, how will I tell this to Bella?”
The British man replied, “Well, Will, she’ll understand. You’ve said that she’s a smart girl. Besides, she needs to know. There are some very, very nasty vamps lurking around in the area you’re in. The next Antarctic Slayer is probably at miles away from where you are, anyway! She needs to keep the place safe. I mean, the only reason you took her in is because the Council was smart enough to realize she was a potential. Just tell her. You’re her watcher. She’ll understand.”
“Fine….” William said, sighing. “Bye.”
He disconnected and stood up, only to be met by the confused stares of his new Slayer. “What the hell was that all about?”
William breathed another large sigh. “We need to talk.”

II
He began to pace back and forth as Bella sat down. “Bella, sweets, have you ever heard of vampires?”
Bella thought for a moment. “Vunpires?” she incorrectly pronounced.
“Vampires. You know, those wrinkly, fanged people?”
“Yes! Yes, I have. You’ve been having those dreams too, dad? That’s weird, because I alway-----”
“Sweetie, no. Bella, describe these dreams for me?”
“Well, the one I just had involved a girl with a pretty dress on drowning in a puddle of water.”
“Bella, that girl, she’s what people call a, well---- vampire slayer.”
She nervously began listening intently.
William continued. “There was usually only one Slayer, ‘called’ after the next one died. However, because of a certain, well, occurrence, this was changed so that nearly every girl born with the potential to become a slayer became just that. A Slayer.”
Bella then turned her head to the ground.
“In some cases, these potentials are able to be found. This is the case with you. Practically every Slayer has a guider, known as a Watcher, to help them with their duties. For example, I’m your watcher. Are you digesting this all?”
She gulped nervously and turned her head up, as well as her body. “First things first, Will. So, you’re not really a scientist? You’ve lied to me, all these years? You’ve waited until now to tell me that I was a ‘potential’ vampire slayer? Why?”
“Listen, well….it’s just that, I….I loved you so much. How could I have let go such a precious girl?” He advanced towards her, with his arms reaching towards the brown tussle of hair that was resting across her eye. Just as his fingers met her face, she slapped his hand away with great strength. Slayer strength, he thought.
“You think that you can get away with this by complimenting or flattering me? For a so-called father, William, you don’t know me very well.” With those words, she raced up the stairs, slamming her bedroom door shut behind her. William thought that his Slayer of sixteen was just going through another one of her occasional angst-filled days. However, behind those closed doors, she was doing something much, much different.
Bella reached under her bed, pulling out a sharp, shiny knife. She pointed it towards her arms and, slowly, began to cut one slit after another. The blood painfully poured out, bit by bit, as she flinched and leaned against her bed, crying. Her whole life had been a lie. Any life would’ve been better than this one, she thought, as the tears trailed down her rosy cheeks. Suddenly, however, she wiped away the tears, bringing herself up. She took the knife in her hand, wiped the blood of off her arms, and opened her bedroom door. Bella traveled down the stairs, clutching the knife as tightly as ever in her right hand. The Slayer was in search of her Watcher, her traitor.
She journeyed across the living room, into the kitchen, where he sat with his back to Bella. He seemed to be in great sorrow for what he did to Bella. This excited her, and made her all the anxious to kill him. She stepped in, and, very swiftly, stabbed him along his spine. She waited for a few seconds. The feeling was unexplainable, seeing that she felt some sort of regret for what she had done. Nevertheless, the feeling vanished from her heart as William fell back, his eyes open and frozen. She reached into his pocket, searching for a key, which she finally obtained. Bella felt she should not waste anymore time. She went towards a door just beyond the kitchen. She had never seen it opened before. She got the keys, inserted them into the lock, and turned it to the left, opening up a frozen room. In the middle of it was a pointy ice blade. Bella grasped her hands around the icy handle. It was a cold as the feeling she received after killing William. Ignoring this, she closed the door, dressed appropriately, and went outside. She did not know why she was going outside, or what she would do. With a knife in one hand and the ice blade in the other, she stepped into the raging blizzard.

III
It was after about an hour or so of journeying east that Bella encountered her first vamp. The vampire was hiding in a small pile of snow next to a rock, knowing that a Slayer was approaching. Quickly, he jumped out, scaring Bella so much that she dropped the blade that had already given her blisters on her hands. Nevertheless, she fought with her knife, while at the same time making sure that the blade was protected. Although the blue vampire’s sharp fangs were very close to pinching her neck, she finally, with all her strength, drove the knife through its heart, killing it. Slaying, it seemed, had come to her almost naturally, by instinct.
Bella continued going east along this route for quite a bit of time, slaying every vampire she encountered. She noticed that her slaying was getting better and better, but she knew it would not matter. The Slayer was wondering throughout the course of the journey what exactly the outcome of her wandering would be. When would she die? Would a vampire kill her? Would the cold kill her? It was estimated that about 50 of these ice demons were now slain by Bella. Nevertheless, I was not until an hour later when Bella finally met her demise.
She walked up, staring at the ground, right into a rock. She found herself with a bleeding lip and hands, so she sat down on the ground, tending to her injuries. The blood fell into the snow, turning the white to a dark, almost burgundy color. It was as she tried to cover the snow up when an unknown girl snuck out and surprised Bella from the rock. However, she was not a vampire, as Bella would have been able to sense it. She was something else.
Bella stood up. “Who are you?”
“Me? Why, I’m Laura Saunders, a vampire slayer. And you? Why, yes, I know you. You’re my next victim!” With that, the other Slayer began to attack and beat at Bella, who fought back, despite her pain. Laura, however, proved to be no match for Bella, as soon, Laura was down on the ground, bleeding heavily. Bella felt as if she was at the top of the world at that moment, and finally preceded onto killing Laura. She did not feel the same way, though, as she did when killing William. She enjoyed the experience, as it was pleasurable to her. But, soon after, another unknown figure came, looking down in horror at the dead body of Laura.
He looked up at Bella. “What the hell have you done to my Slayer, you idiotic fool? Are you twisted? Are you sick? Are you----”
“Get away!” Bella began to strike at the angry Watcher. It was Bella’s never-ending power-trip. He, though, had nothing to fight back with, which made it all the more easy for Bella to kill him. She soon found herself laying his body next to that of his Slayer. As she threw the body onto the ground, it occurred to her: it was as if she did not know the difference between a vampire and a human. She was a ruthless, cold-blooded murderer.
She threw the ice blade into the oblivion. She tilted her head back, ashamed of who she had become, ignoring her destiny. Bella wanted it all to be over. She wanted it all to be erased, all of the lies. She grabbed the knife, finally, and bashed it into her chest. As she did this, she realized that the greatest enemy is not a vampire, nor the cold weather: it is yourself. She fell to the ground.

THE END

Sorry I had to make it about the end of her life as a slayer...it was pretty much the same as her beginning! lol...please tell me what you guys think, thanks.

Disturbing is an appropriate word...and blue vamps at the South Pole? Inspired idea! Kind of explains why there are so many "Scientists" down there! LOL!

It would have been nice, though, for you to go a bit more in depth about Bella's madness. It didn't seem like there was really much to set her off. A bit more of a hint into what started the internal slide might have helped. You told us her Watcher was affectionate and fatherlike...without some background, it kind of seems like she just turns on him, clearly overreacting...I mean, if I found out I had super powers I might wanna try 'em out...but not on someone who otherwise has been nothing but kind to me! Could you give a bit of insight here? I'm interested in what your thoughts were for her motivations.
