I think its just a silly silly rumour but theres a rumour floating around that Michelle may appear in EastEnders (a British soap opera).

Personally im not a fan of the show and can't see how she would fit in, being American and all. Unless she played herself. It is set in London so seeing a star wondering around wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Source (although it is just a discussion on another forum): http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/showthread.php?t=342473

^They haven't provided a source, so it's highly unlikely.

There was an American character in the show a while ago though - some relation to Pauline Fowler - so another American character could debut, but I have to doubt Michelle would play her.

This, to me seems like a simple unsubstanciated rumour. If some online source on an obscure site knows about it, then surely the MANY UK Soap Mags and Tabloids would know, and it would have at least been commented on....

BUT even though i think there is NO credence to the rumour, its still possible.
Sir Ian 'Gandalf' McKellan did a stint on Corrie last year, and if you wanted to get on UK screens and appeal to a mass audience, what better show to go on for a few eps...it is the highest rated(i have NO idea how) show on Brit TV.
The possibilities of how are numerous.
Part of the Fowler family live in America, including a character aged 19, Michelle could be a friend of the teen.
Its not impossible to write her in, just i don't believe for a moment that she WILL be going in.

Well Vicky Fowler, Michelle's daughter would be about 19 now and she is American, and so she could possibly come and play her, or as Vicky's friend or something, but I think it's just a rumour. I can't see her coming into Eastenders, she really wouldn't fit in.
