I love a good rumor as much as the next guy. It does seem like compelling circumstantial evidence for something Firefly related...

Says Kristin of E! Online fame, "I've heard the CW is considering bringing it back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit."

That is compelling. Who saw that one coming? Personally I thought Firefly was dead as Dixie.

At first I thought "yeah whatever, could be anything." but then Kristen mentioned it again in the Veronica Mars webchat and seemed to believe something was going on. And then this from her new column:

I still think chances are slim but its fun, masochistic fun, to toy with the idea.
