Ah, that was a thing of beauty, lol. Almost as fun as River taking out the Reavers. Just that shot of Amy walking away with flaming helicopter parts raining down in the background, heh. She does play a good baddie.
And it looks like Gina Torres will be making a comeback too...

It was a great show last night and Amy was fantastic but what caught my attention is that she is in the opening credits. Glad to see she will be in the show all the way to the end. As short as it will be.

Ok I don't watch Alias(I plan to start, just have to buy season 1) but I literally just can't picture Amy with a bazooka! lol

I'm no expert, but it looked more compact than a bazooka—more like an RPG launcher. Does that help? lol

Just saw the episode, was great and Amy looked so cool and so pretty, hehe. I just still think it's crazy how many of the old guest stars (and regulars) they are bringing back for these episodes! Great though.

I just saw it, and i can just say "WOW". Vaughn's back now...of course..., Anna Espinosa is coming back, we got to see Irina, and now my fav actress is a regular?! I love this show, and I HATE ABC for cancelling it.

The slow mo of that whole scene was fan-frickn'-tastic! BUT was it cooler then the sword fight scene Ilyria had with Angel and Spike?
All I got to say is if Amy doesn't have her own show next year these networks are as dumb as they look! This girl has got the goods!

Really? Hm ok that sounds really strange in my opinion. I'd prefer just a new show all together, I am not much for spin-offs (with the obvious exception for Angel of course ;) )..

I really love the fact that Amy has become a cast member on Alias. Her character Peyton has so much potential, its too bad that the show is ending soon.

Thanks. Still sounds strange to me, then again, could be good I guess.. (And anything is worth seeing Amy on a RV show again.)

Well if JJ wants to do a spinoff then it would make sense to put Amy in the opening credits. It establishes her into the memories of the viewers so if the spinoff is a go they will remember her from Alias next season.

Yeah, that could explain the credits.
Weird. "a triumvirate of evil". They'd be the core characters? Sloane is a compelling character cos he seems so completely depraved and evil, yet in his own way has a deep love for Syd, Nadia. Sark and Peyton are fun, but...they just seem like your run-of-the-mill sociopaths. They don't really appear to care about anything outside themselves. They'd have to be fleshed out quite a bit more, seems to me. (I guess Cordy and Wes were fleshed out well enough on Angel)
Plus, JJ's apparently getting so involved in movies now (the possible Star Trek reboot). He needs to keep close tabs on his shows to keep the quality high.
Amy's gotta have a show...someway, somehow...

I think this series spin off is more fact then fiction. It seems Amy has more power within Project 5 then we are led to believe. I watched the show again and Amy ordered a team to go to Vancouver and said that she was not going to let anything go wrong this time even though Syd's mom (her name escapes me) was on sight and set the whole thing up.
So if they want to set up a series the groundwork could be laid out over the rest of this season on Alia. Besides when was the last time they did a show about bad guys from the bad guys point of view? Could be interesting.

But, isn't JJ already have his hands filled. I heard he is doing a lot of projects at the moment.

He doesn't necessarily have to create a spinoff he just has to ok the idea of another person.

I've noticed that on IMDb, TV.com, etc., a lot of "Alias" fans hate Amy Acker on the series, and think she's too skinny to be a villain. I mean, the show's been gone for like eight months now and it still comes up. Personally I thought she was one of the coolest villains on the show, and the scene with the bazooka was just totally kick ass.
She definitely needs a new show. I'd love for Abrams or Whedon to create a new show and have her as one of the leads.
