Thanks n4h. I saw the first ep and didn't like it...perhaps it improves but I couldn't help but think it was a tad formulaic.

I wasn't a big fan when it first started, but it kind of grew on me.

I've gotta agree with Pointy, i've seen a few episodes and its almost Generic Sitcom fodder, i'm not getting the big deal. I'll give it a couple more weeks but after that i'll be cussing all you Americans that chose HIMYM over Kitchen Confidential!!!!!

I don't know how big NBC's Friends was overseas. I hated that show and therefore I don't know why I should like HIMYM any better. In many ways it's Friends minus one white female. It's even set in New York City again! Maybe it's because the characters are less annoying. Within the cast of HIMYM I think Neil Patrick Harris and of course Alyson Hannigan are particularly fun to watch.

I almost abandoned the show around midseason but I think the writing did get better toward the end. I'm not 100% sure I'll stay with it all of next season-maybe.

Yeah, it's too bad Kitchen Confidential folded so quickly.

Hey what channel is it on in the UK? Cuz in Ireland I've only seen it on once and that was at 3 in the morning, So I didn't' watch it!

Its on BBC2 to here in the UK on sundays at 7.35. Its repeated on BBC3.
I still havent seen any, Sundays such an annoying day, I always forget what time it is, and think its still saturday....I'm wierd like that.
