ok, so i thought i'd give this another try...i had an art thread a few months back, but everything pretty much sucked! i've gotten better since then, still not as good as NSlayMode, edb, or anyone else in here, but i thought i'd let you see some of the stuff i have done.

i mostly do wallpapers, but you might see the odd banner creeping in here too.
feed back is always welcome, as are requests or anything you'd like to see as a banner or a wallpaper...i tend to run out of ideas! lol

most of the brushes and textures you'll see me use are from edb's FANTABULOUS website, Simplistic Desires.

Hmm, i gotta say, i love the Connor one, its great.
My fave is Anne, and i really liked Touched.
mommy was really nicely done.
Tabula Rasa, i gotta be honest, though i like what you tried to do, i feel it was a little over crowded, like you may have put too many pics on...don't hate me:)

I love your Anne Wallpaper. It looks awesome. I really like the nametag LOL I actually really like the Tabula Rasa one. It does look kinda cluttered and like a lot of stuff but there was a lot going on in that episode so I think it goes great. The Christian Kane one came out really nice too.

The Banner, mmm, never been a fan of that show, but gotta give it to Gina, she is beautiful and i've liked Tudyk in the other things he has done(Dodgeball is genius), and they look good on the banner.

You coulda done just the one pic of Cordy holding the crystal but apart from that it was good,( that's just my opinion so it doesn't count lol as long as you like it) the pink one well i liked it but i'm not a fan of pink, the Firefly one now that is well put together, i loved the blends.

ok, the blue one...was a new techniqued i'd learnt. i don't really like it all that much, but it did take a while to do, what with all the different brushes, textures and gradients, that i thought it was a shame for me to work on it and not post it. there, done with that! lol

The new update is my fav stuff by far, The Wall is excellent, I love the colour of it, The banner I freakin LOVE!! Excellent work!

I really do, I love the Colour, I think it works well for Charisma, matches her cloths too. I love the positioning of the pics, I really like how the bottom of the pic is not cut perfectly, I think it looks really well. I also like the separation in the pic by the white bits, although maybe you could add some text going up vertically using the white bits as a underline, if you get me?

I love the Cordy laughter one. The pics you used in it are great. The blue one, I really like it too. It looks differrent than all the other stuff out there. Plus it gets major points cuz it's Cordy LOL The Sarah wallpaper is amazing. Lyri i love it. The pics and the techniques you used were awesome. I also like the Heartbreak banner even though it's very sad.

That Cangel wallpaper is the best piece of Cangel art I have ever seen!!! It is amazing!!! I just set it as my backround :hehe: The Buffy/Faith wallpaper is really nice too. I love the icons. The Tara, Cordy, and Hunger ones are my favorites. Great job Aly. Keep the great stuff coming.

Seriously hon, your last 2 walls are gorgeous, I really hate doing scenic/episodic walls, but you seem to flourish when you do them! I like that you only use 2 or 3 larger images, which, as a personal preference, I think always works better for those kind of pieces, I think sometimes if you use too many images it can just look too busy, so it's great that you focus on just a few important moments to capture the scene. Your placement of images, use of brushes & textures are really good on both of them too :D

I see you've also become a little icon factory too, your icons are really pretty, I love the first & second one especially! :)

Icons are what I love of your work they're really wonderful and creative and it has your touch on it , like when I see your icons I knew that their yours right away and thats honey is what I call talent and style. The on my own wallpaper is Wow it's gorgeous! Please can you tell me where to get your fonts from? they're wicked! it's good to see people still making Anya/Xander graphics. Oh hard question, they all rock! I will guess, cuz it's my favourite, the "Our last dance" one. The angel of the pic makes it a really interesting composition! The "another day" one is also really cool!

The walls rock, seriously!! The Amber one is phenomenal, I love it. The colours are cool, and many ambers make an really cool composition. It just looks great!!

Wow Lyri i love the Angel ones! i've been experimenting with Five by five too, the Faith Angel scene in the ally, the ones you used, ok i've only got adobe photoshop elements 0.5 to get aquainted, but i'll post em in merrick later,
so you can give us some tips, the blending is awkard as i have to use the mending tool (the plaster symbol that corrects photos) to smudge slightly so the join isn't evident, the blending tools i don't think it has. But they are awsome! I'm gonna save up for Paintshop pro X soon, so i can use both.
