New Jewel Staite Movie - The Tribe

Jewel finally got a lead.

Jewel Staite ("Serenity") has landed the lead role in Avatar Entertainment's "The Tribe," about five young adults shipwrecked on an island inhabited by savages. Thriller is being directed by Jorg Ihle and produced by Mo Ramchandani, with Jo Bamford executive producing. It's lensing in Costa Rica.

Thesp's credits include New Line's "Cheaters" and Warner Bros.' "Carpool.

Thanks Nerd4hire! Its been a while since I've read her journal thing. Like you said it really is a great read. Shes so cool...and interesting...and funny...and HOT!

Lost meets Predator......hmmmm. Sounds like it could be bad. Or great! I'll definately check this out. Plus shes 'in practically every scene' so thats a plus. If the story sucks looking a Jewel Stsaite for an hour and a half is still time (and money ) well spent. :p
