As it was mentioned in another recent thread that we should post our pictures in the rogues gallery i went back to the gallery to see if it was now working - again i can't post any pictures i just get error messages so what am i doing wrong??? I knew about the gallerys obviously(sp) as i have used them in the past but i thought they were not working - no i am thinking i am just a mind mushed pregnant bird who can work it out lol

Yeah I was doing some work on it just now (Foi I think it was AD you were thinking of where we had the error messages before ;)) but it is working for me.

Hmm strange as I just added a pic to the member section with no problem. I'll see what I can do but it's difficult if I can't recreate the problem.

When you go to the main page of the gallery, does it show you as logged in? (It will say Logged in as: Foi)

i was wondering if there was perhaps something wrong in my cp area? perhaps?
other than that i have no idea what is going wrong - it's been a while since i was able to upload any pictures to the gallery area...

i could do it at ad but now i cant seem to stay signed in on the bb gallery and the upload button does nothing :(

Well you can't upload if you aren't signed in. You may need to logout, clear your cookies, and log back into the board then go to the gallery.

I've got the same problem as Foi. I log in to the Gallery, it brings me to the forum's index page. I go back to the Gallery, it tells me to log in again. Around and around and around.

You can't log in at the gallery page. You have to be logged in to the board first and then go to the gallery page and be logged in automatically.

Be sure you've checked the "Remember me" box when you log in.

And as I told Foi, if your cookie is corrupt you may need to log out of the boards, clear your cookies, log in to the boards and go to the gallery.

Yeah I think with successive versions of vb the integration between the gallery and the board has become increasingly tempermental. It's a cookie thing mainly.

ok babes - can i send you any piks i need in the gallery then because i cant clear the cookies everytime i want to upload a pik to bb as it causes hastle to all the other sites me and me bloke us and every time i do that me bloke has a fit lol

Well you could just delete the cookie for BB...but it shouldn't have you do it all the time.

I guess as long as it's not a trailer load of pictures...

thats the weird thing it shows me as logged in at the bottom of the page but not the top lol - it hates me ;)

By that she means can you take a snapshot of it?

They mean put the screencap in here so they can see what it says. I think.

You can just hit print screen and save it in paint.

No she means try posting a picture in the gallery and then take a picture of what your screen looks like when you get the message saying that you can't post without the code.

To do that hit the PrtSc button on your computer, it may also say Print Screen. Then save it to your computer in either a graphics programme or in paint by pressing Ctrl V, once your in the graphics programme.

I tried to upload a pic to see.

It's After you hit submit you get that 'Enter the Verification code' - But it doesn't give you anywhere to enter a code.

I've just spent the last few minutes trying to upload a pic from BBGB06 and after cropping it to an acceptable size I still got some odd error messages. I'll try and replicate so I can post them

That error is unrelated and just because of how badly the gallery moves from one place to another. I'll fix the one SOF posted, but it's important that any other error messages get posted because I need to fix permissions on specific categories, and I only know which ones when the errors come up. :)

I only made the change here, until we were short it was fixed. Plus I am on vacation.

Like I said above, I just need the number that comes after 'media' in the path of the error messages. You don't need to screencap or post the whole thing.

Should be fixed.
