Take a lot at an article by Constance Ash discussing the comparison between the events of season seven and those events of Hurricane Katrina that hit the States last summer.
Interesting.

Yeah that really is interesting. I had never actually thought about it before but it does make some pretty interesting points.

For a start, as a society that eats an array of animals including Lamb, Venison and Veal, I really don't see how this person can make this statement regarding Clem- He’s a demon who isn’t all that good (a yen for eating kittens and all).
During his time on the show, we were never told he was 'bad', we made that assumption initially because of the context of us first meeting him and the fact he was a Demon.
Secondly, this doesn't actually portray the facts of what happened in Empty Places - Dawn concurred that she wasn’t trustworthy to lead the Potentials.
If i remember correctly, Buffy said she couldn't sit by and watch...yadda yadda, to which Dawn then said she'd have to leave.
She wasn't necessarily saying I don't trust you, only that if she can't stay with the group while not leading, then she should leave.
Dawns trust in Buffy was never questioned in my mind.
Awww, I couldn't read much after the above because honestly that entire passage came off like alot of crap.
For instance trying to draw parallels between Sunnydale and the mess of Katrina and then saying this - At least no one forced the poor of Sunnydale to stay inside to die of flood, thirst, hunger, exposure, lack of medical facilities, as was done to so many trying to get out of New Orleans.
These were the things that set Katrina apart from most other large scale disasters because of poor control from the top.
The Buffy Evac was a pretty standard affair that really could be paralled with other evacs that have more in common.
I don't know who wrote this tripe, but seems to me they have looked far too deep for a connection hoping to illicit some emotional response to get people to agree.
