I loved Willow with Oz...heck I just plain loved Oz, he was a cool character. I wish that he wouldn't have had to go away because maybe that way Willow would have never turned lesbian. (I am sorry I bet lots of you liked Willow and Tara together but I didn't.)

yeah, the general feeling you're gonna get here is Willow/Tara love. i think most of us are Tillow shippers. i mean, we liked Oz too, at the time, but most people here think, well, I think, that Willow and Tara were just SO cute together and they were perfect for each other...they had one of the most solid relationships in the Buffyverse.
and i don't think many people liked Willow/Kennedy...Tara's the only girl for Willow! :D

My answer for this generally depends on my mood...lol..I'm a Willow/Oz fan at the minute. I love the way he is with her. She's so geeky and talkative and Oz is her complete opposite, but they seem to fit really well. :)

They're . . . boring. Willow and Tara hardly had any chemistry to me. Unless they were arguing about Willow's misue of magic. They're simply too similar in personality, and I find it boring. willow/oz were very cute together. you can clearly see they both care deeply for each other, and i think that was a great first major relationship for willow to have been in. i think their relationship paved the way for willow to be ready for the type of relationship she had with tara. and they were just perfect for each other. definitely soul mates. i don't know what some people are talking about, but they had complete chemestry with each other, probably to the point where they didn't even need to say anything to one another, they simply knew what the other needed. willow and tara were the perfect complements to one another. and i'm not even going to address willow/kennedy...

I started this post to say I like Willow and Tara better, but erased what I wrote because I decided I like Oz and Willow better. Both relationships have their merits, of course.

As a character, Oz wins hands down (personally, I don't think AB was a terribly good actress). More importantly, Oz was a first--and we all have our firsts. He helped to shape Willow, to make her into what she was supposed to become, to show her what she could be; with Tara, any growing Willow did was pretty much of her own accord--Tara mostly was just along for the ride, or gave her boundaries (good ones, albeit). But in a good relationship, aren't we supposed to grow, and become better because of the other person?

Willow looked up to Oz, for guidance and for safety. She looked to Tara for comfort and support, and she looked to Kennedy for...well, mostly because she was there.

Speaking for myself, I like Kennedy, I think there's a good chance she'll be good for Willow. But I do think that Tara was the relationship that may only come along once in a person's lifetime. So Tara gets my vote for favorite, even though Kennedy comes in a close second.

I'm gonna have to agree with the majority and say Willow/Tara. I always thought they were one of the most genuine couples on the show. Plus, they both seemed to love each other from the beginning of their relationship, which is rare amongst Buffy couples. Xander didn't seem to REALLY love Anya until late season 4 or 5 and his relationship with Cordelia was barely serious, Buffy didn't love Spike or Riley, and I'm just not going to comment on Drusilla.

Willow and Oz were great, too. I loved Oz and was really sad when he left. I still wish he'd stayed as one of the Scoobies while Willow and Tara were together (but that's unrealistic.) I also loved Willow and Xander at the time, just because she'd loved him for such a long time...and they were just so cute together.

I loved Oz, both as a character and a boyfriend. I kind of wish he had been my boyfriend, I loved when Willow would do something embarrassing or stupid and he'd say, "I think you're cute when you do that".

But, I think Tara was able to make Willow grow more. In some ways, grow into an evil World Ending beast, but I really loved watching her move out of her old self and into the new one.
