- Featuring Michelle Trachtenberg.
VIOLENT CYBER-KIDNAPPING HAS DETECTIVES QUESTIONING HOAX OR HIGH-TECH CRIME -- After popular video blogger Willow and her boyfriend Holden are seen kidnapped live on-line by two violent assailants, Detectives Logan (Chris Noth) and Wheeler (Julianne Nicholson) are assigned to the high-profile case. With the help of a tech wizard, the detectives question whether the kidnapping is staged or real. When a follow-up video blog shows Willow pleading to viewers to download videos -- which will raise the ransom money -- Wheeler takes a trip into cyberspace to face off with the kidnappers. Michelle Trachtenberg ("Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" guest-stars). Eric Bogosian also stars.

Hmm... I would watch this, but I never got into Law and Order... not the most interesting show in the world to me I guess... I'd like to see Michelle but I'm not determined enough to waste another hour watching a show I don't like just for one actor, like I did with Supernatural when Amber Benson was guest starring... and I'm ranting again aren't I...

Just tape it and fast forward to her parts. That's what I always do when a Buffyverse actor is guest starring on a show I don't like.

I watched the episode and she did a great job. She sure has changed quite a bit since Buffy went off the air and her acting has definitely gotten better compared to other shows over the years since Buffy she has been on.

My tape cut off the ending, the middle of the scene where she tells Holden she's leaving. Can someone fill me in?

She ends up on Larry King Live doing an interview talking about how she just got funding (the money from the scam) to do a movie about what basically happened.
The two cops are standing watching her on the big screen at Times Square and the female cop says "She fooled me."
So in the end she conned Holden, the actors, cops and the public.

I don't normally watch this show but I saw the repeat of this episode on the USA network last night. Clever plot idea, although offhand I thought that the Feds should be able to trace online payments and seize the money in such a situation.

Most of Michelle Trachtenberg's screen time on this episode seemed to be ON a screen, either online and at the end when she was on the big boards in Times Square. That's where I assume it was anyway. I think the production crew must have actually put that Larry King "interview" onto those screens for the filming. It would have been fun to have actually been there on the street when they filmed that, seeing her and not knowing what was going on!

MT did a good job in her role. She still sounded like Dawn when she was acting freaked out and frantic. I must say it was hard to see our Dawn as a total sociopath. As a klepto, yes of course, lol, but as someone that cold and unempathetic, hmmm...
