You must set the ad_network_ads_405.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).

Anyone else hear about this? I saw it on SpoilerFix, apparently Bones is moving to Fridays at 8:00 starting in Jan. Wonder why they're moving it?

It's Fox. Of course they could do this. Killing shows is what they do best! ;)

I read about this somewhere. Apparently they are hoping to find a stronger lead in to American Idol, or something along those lines. Why settle for a show that is doing okay when you can move it, ruin it's ratings and replace it with another show... that you can later move and ruin...

Hel-lo, that's what I thought, the rat bast*^ds! I didn't have time to check out what Bones' ratings have been lately, I was surfing at work (Bad Miffy!) I'm wondering what's prompted this decision (which you've answered) and if the ratings are strong enough that Fox execs think it will withstand the move to the Black Hole of TV Timeslots.

From what I've read they actually do think that a move to Friday will not effect the ratings for Bones. But then when was the last time you actually had any faith in what a Fox exec thinks?

I hope they don't move it to Fridays at 8 becasue Ghost Whisperer is on at that time!!!

Daaaarn. I don't want it on Fridays, I'm not usually around then - well... then again... that means when I am around I can watch the rerun of Thursday's Grey's Anatomy and then switch right on back to Fox to watch Bones. That will be cool.

Well, we may be in luck. I read on Fox's message board for Bones that it's not going to be moving. I haven't read any official word, but the poster said that was the response they got from Fox execs. I'm skeptical, but maybe....just this once.....Fox won't mess with a good thing!

FOX announced this move at their upfronts. Every single year they announce their plans for midseason at the upfronts, and they NEVER follow through with anything they say. Their plans ALWAYS change.

And FOX can't afford to do this anyway, because they're crappy lineup has totally tanked this year.

I miss the days when Gail Berman ran FOX...because even though every good show still failed, at least FOX picked up really good shows.

OK I don't watch American Idol but I do know that it's FOX's cash cow. Now if I remember correctly they run it on Tuesday and Wednesday. So I can see them moving Bones because it has a stable audience that will follow it and on Wednesday they will use Idol for a new show.
Also if Idol does Wednesday at 8 what chance would Bones have against Lost when it returns in Feb? So Friday to me would be a good night because I think it would dent Ghost Whisperer.

It's not moving. FOX wants to see if the show can pick up American Idol fans, so it's gonna stay put.
