One of my favourite episodes. Bit where Angel suddenly swings around in Buffy's room, full vamp. Caught me off guard :D

A few things wrong with that coment SpikedBuffy....

1. '...admitted and closet Bangel fans...' No such thing as admitted Bangel fans. No one would subdue themselves to the riddicule that would follow. Anyone who has ever, or will ever say they like Buffy and Angel togther deserves, and will be, commited.



2.'Let's talk about the episode that showed us the first kiss to this relationship that you all know and love!' It's a proven fact that 99.9% of people who didn't find this kiss completly repulsive died a sudden and horribly painful death... as they should. Think of it as God weeding out the retarded.



3. '...discuss the hotness of Angel's back...' Although I am not certain if you want us to discuss the hotness of Angel (which does not exsist) or the hotness of his back let me say this: Angel is disgusting. I have no other words to describe it. With the caveman eyebrow and that awful hair he had in season 5 of his own show *shudders*. I believe one wise robot said it best... "Angel's lame. His hair grows straight up and he's bloody stupid."



4. '....One of the better episodes of season one.....' Thats like saying 'A bullet to the head is one of the better ways to die'. Buffy episodes in season one are like various ways to die.. nearly all painful, not funny, and only SLIGHTLY entertaining to watch.



So, SpikedBuffy, I'll let it slide this time. But make mistakes like this again... and it could cost your life ;)

*raises hand* um, I'm an admitted B/A fan, also B/S. Basically, Buffy and the dead guys. I can see them getting back together, if they survive long enough that is.

Anyway, one of the best s1 eps, and on of the best Angel themed episodes, in either BtVS or Angel.

S1 was good. It had a differetn feel to midway S2 on but it was good, because it wasn't all about the apocalypse. It was about all the stuff going on when there doesn't seem to be one on the way. S2 on introduced the Big Bad theme. Which was very good, but I liked being able to see more of Buffy dealing with everyday demons then just the all powerful suped up ones like Angelus or Glory. Plus, S1 is certainly better then S4 or 6. Apart from Spike s4 bord the hell out of me, and s6, bleh.

ok, so, on with the ep.
i know i'm not a Bangel, but this ep is my fave from S1. not because of 'the kiss' but because of the big revelation. come on, seriously, the first time you watched this ep, how many of you ended up with your jaws hitting the floor when Angel vamped? i know mine did.
it was just such a huge revelation. i don't think anyone would have expected Angel to be a vampire!

Just think, if they hadn't found David Borenaz for the role, Angel would have turned up in one episode, and we'd never have seen this.

i feel so alone having not seen in it order! i saw angel first, in fact, and thus do not nearly know of the shock of which you speak. i thought the buffy/angel stuff was sweet, despite all these comments. i liked how darla was starting to seem more like the darla she'd 'evolve' to in angel, and less like the purposeless one-episode vamp of episode 1. and when darla sets angel up to look bad in front of buffy, i was going 'no, dont believe it! its a trick!', at my tv set! :silly:

I loved this ep!! Angel and Buffy :D Love bangel.. yeah i know as a spuffy shipper you wouldnt think so.. but yeah big bangel fan HUGE spuffy fan... yeah ... anyways moving onto topic... I really loved the fact he turned into a vamp after that kiss.... and hes like im too old for you.. shes like errr how much older... i thought that was funny.. but then again i have a weird sense of humour and find random things funny! fav ep of season 1 i think..

Okay, watching it now.... found something interesting. When Buffy and Angel are running to her house, she invites Angel in quickly, and then the other vamps actually get a hand in around the door. Technically they should not have gotten a hand inside the door!
