Me and Joamna recently rewatched this episode, and I hadn't seen it in quite a while. It's really funny though, heh, I love how Angel doesn't have an Irish accent at all, I wonder why ;) :D
(Funny thing, Joamna overheard some girls on the subway talking about David being Irish and how you can totally hear his Irish accent on Bones, lol..)

Really funny episode, and the commentary with Joss and Alexis is one of my favorites, they are hilarious.

I loved this episode. The episode title threw me off though because it didn't sound that all.. mysterious to me. But little did I know what the episode was about. I loved that Joss made that old Wes from BtVS S3 come back, and Cordy from S1. It was great to see "them" back again.

Spin the Bottle is one of my favorite Angel episodes. I love having Queen C back. She was so funny and it made me miss her high school persona. The part about her having bad hair was real funny. I personally like her long dark hair better than the short blonde hair.

I love that show too, and I watch it both ways and I like listening to Joss & Alexis talking & explaining as it went, which gives it a whole new meaning hearing it from Joss veiw

Spin the Bottle is awesome! It's got the return of high-school-bitch Cordelia, Fred as a geeky girl who sometimes smokes a little weed, Wesley as a young Watcher with something to prove, and Gunn as a street punk, again with something to prove. I love them!

It was funny in places. Wes trying to be a know it all was hilarious, plus Conner started to really take advantage of the situation and try to get Cordy
to dislike Angel, quite manipulative. Great "twist", they unwittingly wroke up the evil in her, which was nicely played out in the sequence that followed her having her memories back.
Loved Lornes "Star Trek" Pov too!
This is one of my favorite Angel epsiodes out of all of them! I thought it was so funny and the commentary was the best! I, too, liked seeing the old Wes and Cordy. And when Angel thought the cars were monsters was too funny for words! Haha! I'm laughing just thinking about it!

I love the whole Wes knife scene. When he is like..."Don't touch my arms", and then Fred is making those funny noises and flapping her hands around and says..."I didn't get one"
Gosh I have replayed that scene a billion times over. It is just priceless.

Very funny ep. It's all good, but it's Fred-as-pothead that creases me up.

" Got any weed?" lol...never thought Fred as a pothead.
I loved this episode too and have watched with and without commentry. I loved Lorne's narration of it too. We needed more Lorne-centric episodes though.

This was one of my favorite Angel episodes. It was so funny and clever. It had me laughing all the way through!
My favorite joke was the one about Wes being "head boy." Angel's thing about the minstrels in the tiny box was great, too. Oh - and how he thought the cars were demons -- priceless! Everything about this episode was great.

I love love love this episode! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to have Sunnydale Corsy back for a little while! and Wesley! My God! Alexis Densiof is unreal! its easy to forget how far Wes has come...when he starts doing his karate-ay it is probably the highlight of the entire series for me! and Liam berating wes about Ireland! I can't help but have a little smile!! watch this ep and Tabula rasa back to back..its probably the funniest 90mins of your life!

OMG I just watched this episode and its like one of my FAVE angel episodes EVER!!! my favorite quote is
"You made the little men stop singing!!!" LOL
What I also liked is that we get further insight into Liam. He didn't start out as the drunken womanizing ne'er-do-well we see in Becoming, he was actually a polite, somewhat awkward but charming young man.
A side note, I'm not sure how accents work. I would have thought that Liam would have an Irish accent, why wouldn't he?
Wes is fab. Great of Alexis to slip back into the old rhythm.

This ep was amazing and hearing Joss and Alexis in the commentary only added to it like when Joss said that the sound of Liam changing from vamp to regular face over and over again was supposed to symbolize masturbation.
On a different note, I know this is pretty obvious but I just wanted confirmation so I know for sure wasn't that supposed to be a little Jasmine coming through when Cordy smashed that urn thing.

I always thought the same thing. But didn't Jasmine awaken when the memories were restored? Or was she Jasmine right after she came back from the Higher Plane?

It was always Cordelia, but 'Jasmine' was woken when the memories were restored.

I think that when they where in that high state for a few seconds Jasmine came through and broke that urn thing which caused the spell to go wrong and have the gang assume their teenage personas but when their memories where restored Jasmine fully awoke and began controlling Cordy, but why would Jasmine have wanted to keep them from performing the spell to restore Cordy's memories?

Maybe full Cordy would be harder to defeat? You know, if she had remembered everything than maybe it would have been more impossible to use her like she did. I truly have no idea of course.

LOL. That already was the most hilarious sequence of an outrageously funny show for me (I was hard pressed not to fall off the sofa from laughing!), but now that I hear this... erm... explanation, it's even better! :lmao:

I loved this episode, but for some reason before I watched it I was a little put off. I think it was the title and the premise that did it. However, I saw the Joss writing credit and realised it would probably be just like Waiting in the Wings, where I felt the same before watching but loved the episode!

Accents are affected by how people around you speak. Angel had been in America for about a century so therefore he would speak with an american accent because that's how everyone was speaking around him.
If that makes any sense

This episode contains one of my favourite Wesley lines and just makes me laugh out loud every time I hear it.
GUNN Don't be giving me orders. I run my own crew.
WESLEY I'm sure your seafaring adventures are very interesting, but I have experience of things you couldn't imagine. I'm not head boy for nothing.

Lovely episode. Fun way to bring light to such a dark and heavy season, and at the same time, a pivotal (or at least relevant) episode.
A less obvious theme to this episode is the consequences of using magic/mystical methods of solving your problems/friend's problems, when they boil down to simple human problems. Cordelia's memory could've eventually come back to them, and Jasmine could still remain at bay.
