New Discussion theme: Personal Commentary

Okay, this was brought up by some fabulous members about a new idea to spice up the discussions.

Introducing..... personal running commentary on a certain episode.

How do we want to do this? Considering we've got Lyri's new idea of discussing our top ten faves and then giving commentary...do we want to pick our own episode? Or have everyone do the same episode?

i figured for the top ten thing, we could each do our own, and find out how many overlap, but that might take a while, as far as reading posts go, so i'm pretty much open to suggestions at this point! lol

Well, I guess just maybe doing a prelim run with "Out of Sight, Out of Mind". See how it works. And then if we like this idea and it works out nice (which I'm thinking it will), then we can either keep continuing it with our running season two discussion or just pick and choose eps.

O, an idea I had with this commentary also: Instead of just one long ranty (no spaces/capitals/breaks), you should break it up into paragraphs. It would make it much easier to read and friendlier on the eye and mind!

Well since everyone is confused on it why not just break it up. Pick 5 episodes and then asa group everyone choose 5 more to watch. Since theres 7 seasons alot of episodes theres no promise people are gonna watch the same ones and discussion could be kinda ugh..

I don't think it's an issue of being confused here. It's just deciding if we want to just pick a random eppie or stay the course on the weekly discussions but with this new 'theme'.

Either way, we'd still be following the series weekly as we're doing now.

I think just stay on course with the weekly discussion episodes, [We're nearing the end of Season 1 right?] otherwise it could just get messy. Unless there is an overall majority on a few episodes everyone wants to do...?

so, since i dont have time to watch this episode at the moment, can i still make comments in the thread, or should i wait until i have time to watch?
