Let's try this one out in personal commentary style.
Watch the ep, take notes about your thoughts, comments, feelings, connections, whatever springs into your mind.
Then, come back to us and give us your personal commentary about the episode.
This should be fun!

taps microphone ....hello is this thing on?
sorry, i was waiting until i watched the ep to post. only got around to it yesterday. sorry.
anyway, here's my personal commentary for this ep. it might take a while. lol
Cordelia mentions in this ep that she has to have her dress for the Spring Fling specially made, because off the rack gives her hives. yet by the time 'The Prom' comes along, she's willing to work at a store to pay for a dress. is this because of her father loosing his money, or has it got more to do with the fact that Cordy has grown as a person by then and is willing to accept that store bought gowns are just as good?
why is Buffy carrying so many weapons in her book bag? has she just come back from fighting some demon or something? we've seen in 'The Puppet Show' that there are battles in the verse that happen off screen, so maybe it was something like that?
i just realized how much attention Cordy really pays in English class. she's really taking part in the discussion.
When did the dressmaker call to tell Cordy her dress was ready? they ran into Buffy in the hallway, and the next scene they were in class. are you allowed cell phones in class?
Does anyone else really wanna know what happened in 6th grade with Cordy and the deputy story? lol
was Mitch's dad really a lawyer? i liked Xander's joke about the vampire bat. lol
Giles' first suggestion to explain Mitch's attack was a possessed object. it was also his first thory for Sid in 'The Puppet Show'
Xander opts for research rather than talk to Cordelia. it seems strange to watch that knowing that less than a year later he'll be changing his mind.
Mitch dated someone called Wendy before Cordy. would Cordleia really date someone's seconds?
When Marcie bumps into Buffy, she asks 'Who's here?' like she thinks they're hiding.
The FBI men look like Men in Black, lol
Buffy seems to feel a little jealous when Willow and Xander go home together.
This is the first episode that Giles and Angel offically meet.
Angel seems to have been reading up on Slayer lore, just like Giles.
Marcie seems focused on Cordelia, yet everyone else ignored her too. including Willow and Xander. why is all her anger towards Cordy?
Marcie was the latest person to disappear, 6 months ago. seems a long time between disappearences for a town like Sunnydale.
Xander is the one who comes up with the explination for what happened to Marcie when he says' What, no one noticed her, so she became invisible?' this is the first time of many when it will be Xander who comes up with the answer.
Buffy blames herself as much as anyone else for Marcie's problems, even though she wasn't around for most of what happened.
in class, Marcie is sitting right in front of Xander when she actually vanishes, and yet he never notices.
for once, Cordy's right when she thinks everything's about her, lol
Cordy says she never comes into the library 'cause she has a life, yet she has to check books out in S3.
i liked Buffy's little silent giggle at the follwing Xander remark: 'Can we just marvel at your fabulous lack of priorites?'
when Cordy talks to Buffy about feeling lonely, this is maybe the first time she's opened up to anyone, if what she says about her friends is true.
When Buffy heard Marcie playing the flute at night in the school, was she making the recording to trap Willow, Giles and Xander?
how did Marcie get from the boiler room to the closet so quickly?
where did Marcie get her medical equipment?
how did an invisible teenager get two girls, at least one unconscious, from the high school to the Bronze on her own in braod day light?
Angel rescues Xander from the boiler room and he's still rude to him.
Why did Buffy have so much trouble fighting Marcie? yeah, she's invisible, but she shouldn't have been able to floor the Slayer with one punch.
one of the FBI men is called Doyle.
The scene with Cordy thanking the Scoobies is the first instance that she could actually be friends with these guys. she so grateful to them for saving her that her real personality shines through.
how did Marcie know which chair was empty? lol
ok, guys. maybe i've given you enough to get an actual proper discussion going on!! lol

Sorry, this probably didnt make much sense, but it was just the thoughts running through my head while watching this episode.
Favourite insult of the episode: You’re a thundering loony!
I wonder if Buffy was as mean as Cordy back in LA..
Theres something ive always wondered when ive watched american tv shows...Are the changerooms all like that? Rows of showers and lockers? Coz we never had that in Australia..
I love the way Willow says “Be my deputy!”. I agree with Lyri, i wish there was some sorta flashback to this, with little willow/xander/cordy playing out this scene.
Snyder: There are no dead students here...this week.
Wow, look at the crazy amount of tropheys in the music room
Willow is wearing a scooby doo shirt! And her hair looks so nice.
If they hang around at the school on some nights doing research or whatever, don’t they ever hear that flute?
Angel is so cute in this episode! He looks so good in season 1.
If vampires cant see their reflection, how do they, you know, prep themselves?
If this girl is invisible, why is she just hanging out at the school? Stuff revenge, just go out and have an awesome time!
The bit with the teacher and the bag is freaky.
I love it when no one can understand Giles. When he’s talking about Physics.
Have i mentioned that Clea Duvell is awesome? Even tho we dont seen her much, shes cool.
Cordy: (to Buffy) I was kinda hoping you were in a gang!
I love all of Cordy’s lines in this episode.
All this time, is the seal to open the hellmouth under there? Coz we dont see it.
The FBI people aren’t very stealthy. They’re kinda dorky actually.
It’s so cute when Cordelia is being nice. I love how she can instantly turn back to mean. Because mean cordy is funny in its own way.
The government is scary.
The end!
