I really love the first NFA piece - I think the composition on that one works alot better than the other one, but they are both really good, it's just the first one seems to gel better. :D I like the use/placement of text on the first one more as well. :)

The 'Destiny' banner is quirky too! :D Keep 'em coming!

That's really great, I really like it! I loved the pictures you've used too!

I adore the AH one too, the colours are lovely and subtle, giving it a washed out look in the background, & then your attention is drawn to the sepia toned images in the middle! A BIG :thumbsup: for both of them!

I really like what you did for Primal Slayer as well, I've seen other people use that kind of effect but it hasn't looked as good as that! I'm torn between the subtle colours on the first, and the 'mood' colours on the second - I really can't decide, I love them both equally, plus I don't think you could of picked better scenes to have chosen either!

kanga agrees: I'm not sure I'm doing them how you're suppost to, I made my own way :p

Well, I use Photoshop CS & I use the rounded rectangle tool, with a radius of 36, no style, then I Layer >>> Rasterize >>> Shape. Then Select >> Load Selection>>Inverted. Delete that layer and click on the layer I want to have rounded corners, and then Edit >>> Cut

I used to do it another way, but find that one so much quicker 'lol'

Oh thanks so much, I'll try that next time! I have been putting the shape on top of my work then using the lasso tool to delete the sharp edges, then I bring it into Illustrator and put the outline over the top of it incase it looks messy.

I especially love the Wes piece....very original & a great idea!! I also really like what you did with the 'Can We Rest?' piece too, the scenes in that are so great, and I love the style you did it in.

I can't make up my mind with the banners...I like the simplicity of the S8 one, but I also love the colours on the Chosen one as well.

The Willow piece is very dark, and menacing...... makes me want to shine some light on her to see what's really in the dark there with her 'lol'

Wow sweetie! I love the "Play well with others" piece. Very nice. I like the effects you chose and the gradient. The texture I agree is an awesome one, very pretty- I too aquired that one from our wonderful edb. I also like your Cordelia and Wesley one. I have noticed that a few people cannot resolve the any of my sites, I've even called their tech support they "say" everything is OK, but it apparently is not if people cannot connect, I'm at a loss on what to do except look for new hosting.

I was able to access it but amazingly.... Some people might have problems due to BB technically advertisement of another buffy related forum on the site is not allowed and the links are usually removed from all places but your profile.... because it creates conflict for this forum because they could loose members to yours..... definatly want to be careful with advertising forums... websites are cool but other message boards related to the same stuff this one really agianst the rules trust me i've had a few polite run ins with miss summers when i advertised mine in my sig for a while....


But on the note of the artwork its great :) as always

Really nice. I like the diagonal type and the blocked out, uneven dark blue outlining behind the "Celebrate World Youth Day '08". And you always use abstact little repeating patterns really well—those bubbly circle things in the back. Nice color scheme.

Love that "Choice" background! It's a style that you don't see a lot of here, and I like how everything is centric of one episode (makes for a very well-rounded piece, more often than not I find :) ). You've got almost a dreamy effect going on for the upper line of photos, and having the lower ones that crystal clear (and, what seems to be my signature comment these days-- SO well blended :D) really makes the title stand out that much more. And the background graphics/spash effect is very, VERY cool!

So really well done, love your other posts too, you definitely have a knack! Hope to see more from you soon! :thumbs:

The idea of putting textures/patterns with a pic is really cool, and you do a really good job of matching them up!

I love all the new pieces, from the snazzy poster to the Fredless piece. I always love that although your pieces are very different there is that element of 'you' in them too - like you can identify a piece of your work because it has a unique style that's all your own!

FAB work on all of them hon, and glad to see your muse has returned....mine also disappeared for a while too, so I know how that goes. ;)

Aww I love how you are making the compositions and placing the background. For a favourite I'd pick maybe old school Bangel ( and Willow and Tara close by :P ). They are really eye-catching and different!

I was going through some of your earlier work, on post No: 21 from 02-16-2007 there is three pics of Buffy at Hemery high, when she was called, that was when Angel (rat boy) was watching.
If the whole picture was wider and the two pics on the right could be of Faith in the same pose, as two pics of Buffy on the left. I reckon it would look quite good, plus it'd make people think about when Faith was called.

The image of Cordelia in the woods is reminiscent of the early Hammer films.

This is one of my favourite photos of Nick and Sarah, hard not to use it for something bright and pretty. Plus I made this cloudy new background that seems to go with everything.

You should be able to upload 1024x768max in photobucket - where it says max image size on the upload bit, just click the (options) and change it to 1024x768 & save. :)

Yup, I'm in the Midlands, about 25 minutes car journey from Birmingham, place called Tamworth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamworth). Never actually been to London myself.... :drunk:

I'm no expert with websites either - thank heavens for Dreamweaver I say. :D I hadn't got a clue when I started making sites, so I just taught myself, and read loads of online tutorials, I know enough to get by most of the time, and if I don't know, then it's off to read another tutorial 'lol'. :)

I love that! You really captured that 'pissed off' look. The compostition is really excellent too - I always love that about your pieces, they are very original and I haven't really seen anything else like them - I've probably already said that before but it's true 'lol' Plus, you always work with such different colours but they work really well, I know I wouldn't brave to use some of the colours I've seen you use, but you churn out these amazing pieces and make them look fantastic - you always seem to pick colours that are just so right for the piece!
