I love this season, so many good episodes I was wondering which one do you guys watch the most.. if you ever whip out the DVDs on a boring day. Mine is Doppelgangland, or Earshot... friggin hilarious.

Yeah, Earshot and Doppelgangland seem to be overlooked a lot sometimes, and they are so funny. Possibly the best scene between the scoobies is when they think Willow is dead and then she walks in :p "Get back demon!" Xander shakes the cross cause it's not working :lol:

My favorite episode from season 3 is Anne. My favorite scene from the entire series happens in this episode. The Demons are breaking the teenagers spirts and when he gets to Buffy he ask who she is and she smiles cutely. "I'm Buffy the Vampire Slayer and you are?" then head buts him.

Willow has her vampire self, Angel has Angelus, Buffy has her Bot, Xander has his "split in two" person, Anya has Anyanka, Giles has Ripper, Spike has his William the bloody/First being him, (actually, buffy has that too), Can't think of any for Dawn, Tara....

I love doppelgang land its not just my favourite out of season 3 but possibly out of the whole show i think it really stands out as what Buffy is all about its really funny dangerous and just a little scary the fight scenes are also cool my second choice is the zeppo i love that fact that all this end of the world stuff is happening yet we really only see what Xander is up to it really shows you just who Xander is!

so much awesomeness happens in season 3! in my opinion it's the best season (it's not my favorite season-- that's season 4) but i think it was the best written, had alot of development in the show, and it was a fantastic plotline bringing faith into the picture.

dopplegangland is definitely my favorite season 3 episode. alyson hannigan is a remarkable actress for playing four different roles in one episode. go her! plus, vamp willow is just awesome! i wish there could have been more of her (uh oh, i just said the 'w' word... no alternate realities please... jk) and alot of my favorite lines come out of that episode:

"i guess... vampires really don't have to breathe ::looks at breasts:: gosh, look at those" (hah, hilarious) or...

Xander is such a nice boy and is treated so bad in this episode.

Band candy because of Joyce and Giles I just love the scene were they are playing old records, and Giles gets wild and breaks a window and steels a piece of clothing for Joyce.just great!!

Season 3 is my favourite season, and I love all the episodes, but my most watched episodes are Homecoming, Band Candy, Amends, The Zeppo, Doppelgangland, The Prom and Graduation Day Part 2.

Based on how many times I've watched an episode, Doppelgangland seems to be my favourite BtVS episode. Laughing is like a free facial. I feel it relaxes the 'character lines' on my face. lol

Like Nabila, season three is also my favorite season. It's just full of fantasticness. But the episode I watch the most from this season has definitely gotta be, unquestionably, Band Candy. It's just fantastic.
-We get a return visit from Ethan
-Teenage!Snyder is just...just so hilarious. One of the best lines being 'Summers! You drive like a spaz!'
-As both a Giles and Joyce fan I love that the episode is pretty centric around this two and I just loved them both as teenagers. Especially when Joyce tells Buffy 'screw you' Buffy's face in reaction to those words is priceless. And Giles just whipsering to Buffy while she's talking to Ethan 'hit him again!'. Plus Joyce's teenagerdom-summed-up-in-one-look rejection of Snyder is just classic too.
-Giles/Joyceness (Joyles?!). I'm like the uber shipper for this couple (shame me, cheer me, you decide) so this was just like a shipper's dream for me, haha. But I love the way they are towards each other at the end, hehe, and the accidental revealing of what they actually did, in Earshot.

lol that episode was hilarious but The Wish/The Zeppo definitely top as my favorites, so much drama and the coolness, :) I just loved them so. I can't get passed how Xander did all those amazing things in the Zeppo and didn't tell anyone how amazing he was. Plus The Wish was so thought out and Cordy,Xander,Willow,Angel,and Buffy all die in the episode :( so tragic, then Giles saves the world ^_^ such an amazing episode

I do love The Wish- that final fight scene with that creepy music where she just dusts all her loved ones without blinking an eye is just so haunting- and I love The Zeppo for the Xandercentricness of it all (and Cordy gets to be the uber bitca doesn't she? hehe. I love her 'I again I strike the nerve. I am the surgeon of mean') and it's so true, that he was totally cool in- so cool that he didn't *have* to tell people about. He is no longer The Boy Who Had No Cool. But just as The Wish/The Zeppo will always top your list, Band Candy will always be headin mine hehe

I agree with you in that 'loving all the Buffy episodes' part! It's the same for me! It was quite hard a decision to make when I chose only one eppy as the best one in this season. For me, the third is the best season. But anyways, The Prom got my vote coz it always breaks my heart and makes me cry but you know... in a good way. I mean, okay, there's that whole breaking up thing but the 'I will always love you' - thing is also implied... Kinda romantic and beautiful and all... Now it makes me sigh. :P

Oh, yeah! I almost forgot about mentioning Helpless! It's also one of my all time favourite Buffy episodes! I love Giles, and this episode showed and introduced clearly the caring, fatherly figure behind the Watcher's mask.

I'll go with The Wish and Earshot. The Wish was cool because I love alternate takes on reality. Buffy becomes like Faith without coming to Sunnydale and Xander and Willow as vampires was really cool.

I liked Earshot because of not only the way it dealt with school violence and suicidal tendencies of socially isolated adolescents, but it was freakin hilarious at the end when Buffy tells Giles, "Maybe you can fit it in your schedule when you're not having sex with my mother." Classic! I laugh at that scene everytime!

I watched Bad Girls over and over again. Because of the great tension that is their during the whole episode. Buffy is living on the edge of going with Faith, going of the deep bad end. But in the end realizes that she's the slayer, to do good. And not to have fun. It's something she was made for, and I believe that Buffy is really one to help others above everything else. She'll risk her life over and over for the ones she loves (hint the end of S5) and she realizes in time (or maybe not, cause there died someone on excident) that she can't go on with what they are doing.

It is totally The Prom for me. I even have these cute little action figures of Angel and Buffy in their outfits. I hang it on my wall and stare at it lovingly from time to time. Oh I love that episode. When Angel walks in even though they had officially broken up and Giles is all "sometimes people surprise you" and there he is. And they do not say a word but just come together and he holds her closely and they dance to "Wild Horses" which was originally done by the Rolling Stones but remade by Mazzy Star which I have on my ipod and is delightful and I cry and cry and cry . . . . . . . .

"Doppelgangland" and "The Wish". Me, a sucker for Vampire Willow ? Noooooooo...

But I also voted for "Anne", "Earshot", "The Prom" and most importantly "Revelations"... not because I watched them the most intentionnally, but because, when I learnt the existence of BtVS (I was like 9 or 10), season 3 was on air. And I remember pretty vividly having watched these episodes, totally afraid of the HORRIBLE MONSTERS! (I also watched Charmed cos it was less hardcore...) And I'm pretty sure that, in the years to come, every time I watched TV and Buffy was on, it was one of these episodes. Especially "Revelations". I ALWAYS fell on that one, and I've always remember the Willow quote "I wanted you to be the first to know that... There's a demon behind you.". God, even now I remember the French version of it, though I haven't watched it in French since the first time I watched all the show. (And that was because only French was available)

Lover's Walk, The Zeppo, and Bad Girls. These three aren't necessarily my favorites, but I always end up watching these three the most whenever I feel like watching season 3. :)

The Wish and Dopplegangland... I love the alternate universe thing, especially evil Willow and Xander.

Band Candy... I love watching young Giles, something oddly sexy about his more rough accent and love for music, magic, and anarchy. And Snyder is really kinda funny too.

Go the white hats! Anya enters the show properly, nothin but luff for anya. And I personally have always wondered what would happen if Buffy never went to Sunnydale. And Vampire willow! its all gooood

Just......beautiful, I am, of course, reffering to the last scene with Angel and Buffy and then it begins to snow, gets me every time

For me its got to be Earshot I love that episode with Buffy hearing everyones thoughts. Xanders are the funniest with him constantly thinking about sex and Oz analyzing everything his facial expressions are classic.

The ending with Buffy running up the wall and on to the roof of the building to get to the bell tower was really good. Its not every day you see Buffy display that kind of fighting power and her speech I think is very true to what you see in every day high schools.

Doppelgangland i love evil willow. I have them on Video eeeck! so i don't get to watch it as much because my family don't like Buffy :( but i have season 6 & 7 on DVD which watch on the computer so I watch them more.

It's hard for me to watch random episodes of a show. Usually I just shows on DVD in order, with a few exceptions. Sometimes I do it with Buffy, not TOO often though...but I think the episodes I've seen the most from season three (probably only by one extra time than the others) are: Anne, Gingerbread, The Prom, and the two-part Graduation Day.
