Ooh! A good book! Very much so. Mainly revolves around Giles and his head getting hit (that was sarcasm. Except for the head part.) Just finished it yesterday. Ok. On to the plot! (No spoilers follow.)
Victor and Jason were two of the Master's lackeys before he went all kablooey, and now they are attempting to disrupt the natural Slayer line to keep him alive. Very complicated, I know. But Buffy, Will, Xand, and Giles have to travel back to Wales in 60 AD to save the Slayer Incinii and several others in different time periods. I'll list them in order of appearance:
Wales, 60 AD
-Incinii. This part takes place during the Roman invasion of Wales. Exciting! There are Druids, too!
Ancient Sumeria
-Ejuk. Let's just say Xander laughs in the face of danger...and gets plagued for it. A Greek god battles the Scoobies and Ejuk.
Tennesee, 1862
-Agatha Primrose. Civil War Slayer. Bad things happen to her house.
French Revolution
-Marguerite something...oh well! Just read and figure it out!
Great book! I recommend it to anyone interested in Slayer history. :D
