Lessons Did you see Buffy's Tats?

Any one notice that Buffy had a few tat's on her back? I wonder if this was for Buffy or S.M.G.? I would think it was for Buffy, since they can always cover them up on the show. I never saw them on her (Buffy) before or that she got them in the show and I can't quite tell what they are.
One looks like a ribbon, like people put on there car for like MIA's or POW's.
The other looks like an Asian symbol.
Any ideas?

I think they are SMG's, she has like seven, but maybe they wanted to put alittle of herself into Buffy, so they let Buffy have tattoos..she wasn't anti-tat right?

Buffy doesn't seem much of a tattoo person, to be honest, and only loonies would get a tattoo for a TV show, so, Sarah must have got them seperately to being Buffy.

Ummm they wouldn't put "real" tat's on an actor. Just paint.

it's SMG's tat. she has a few, one on her back and one on her ankle that i'm sure of. you can see the one on her ankle in one of the promo photos for S4, the one where's she's wearing a leather skirt or pants, and standing at the back with Riley. i'll see if i can find it and post it here.
side note, you can also see one of Alyson Hannigan's tattoo, also on her ankle, in the promo photot for S6. it's two tribal dolphins in a circle.

ok, i found the pic. so here it is. the tat is on her right ankle, on the inside.

I noticed this one in "Grave" when Buffy and Dawn are climbing out of that big whole at the graveyard. Is that one of her tats? The picture isnt very good, maybe watch this bit on dvd again and see what you think.

hmm, it looks like one to me. i'll go check and see if there's anything that says what her tats actually and then we can look for the screencap Blade69 is talking about and compare! lol

This site (http://www.tattoos-by-design.co.uk/celebrities/celebrities.asp?celeb_id=11) says she has three in total...one on her lower back, like the cap mogwaid posted, one on her ankle, like i posted, and one on her hip. there are pictures of them all.

Yeah, I knew Sarah had tattoos of her own, I think that they tried to cover them up as best they can but sometimes they just show up.

it's like Cordy...they tried to cover hers in the first season and the beginning of the second season, but the one on her back is just too big to hide sometimes. you can clearly see it when she has the vision in 'First Impressions' it's a sun.
