Waist, Want Not

We love the ruffled bell hem on the iridescent blue frock Sarah Michelle Gellar sports at a Whitney Museum benefit, but we're not so sure about the undefined waist—it makes her look like a shapeless blob. We know she's battling baby-bump rumors, but this is no way to keep tongues from wagging.

She Really Slays Us

Sarah Michelle Gellar really creases us with this look. Usually a subtle siren and Max Azria darling, S.M.G. opts for this bizarrely bare pseudobustier with wrinkly, crinkly shorts at the opening of Harrod’s Spring Sale in London. This sloppy getup at such a prestigious event (celebrating fashion no less, woman!) is like a stake to the heart.

the first link took me to sarah jessica parker, but the second link was smg, and when I saw her walking in that shorts outfit I thought she looked great, but the still photo, not so much.

I am also wondering, does she want to get pregnant? Of course no one knows this but if she is trying to show that she's not, means she really doesn't want to be. Oh well.

The outfit is fairly horrendous, but as E!Online know very well Gellar is wearing it because it comes from the new collection of the designer Jasmine de Milo - in other words, Jasmine de Fayed, the daughter of Harrods owner Mohamed Al-Fayed. Gellar's job was to promote the store and promote the Summer sale and that is exactly what she was doing.

I actually think she looks hot in that outfit. Reminds me of the stuff she used to wear in season 1 of Buffy. And is it just me or did she gain a little weight? It looks good on her.

Yeah, she did look like she had beefed up a bit. I don't think she actually gained weight, it was just the outfit. The top really shortened her already short torso and the belt at the "pillow" shorts made her waist look wide.

Shades of Style

It's fairly simple, but we're oddly taken with Sarah Michelle Gellar's black 'n' gray belted mini at InStyle magazine's L.A. Summer Soiree . Of course, it helps that she has the tiny body essential for such a blousy look. Just don't lose any more weight, SMG—we're seeing too much collarbone already.

We're trying to go beyond of our comfort zone, really, we are. But...c'mon! Sarah Michelle Gellar's dress is far too tight around the chest (look at the skin bulging over) and far too wide around the hips. Besides, look at that gilded macaroni necklace. Though, we like the shimmery color, if that counts?

Sometimes the stars are better off without a fancy stylist. Earlier this week, Sarah Michelle Gellar squeezed herself into the most unflattering frock at the premiere of Southland Tales. But she looks just divine here, strolling through Beverly Hills in a sleeveless blouse and skirt combo. Big improvement!

Color Her Stunning
Sarah Michelle Gellar looks fabulous in this shade of blue with gold accents at the The Air I Breathe premiere. Is this crocheted neckline or bare back cutout the most flattering style she could be wearing? Not necessarily—she's only a few threads from a nipple slip—but we're so dazzled by the bright hue that we're gonna let form triumph over function.

I loved the dress that she wore to the "Air I Breathe" premier. It was a beautiful color. (And up close, the collar was actually very nice and her hair was so cute)

However, that last outfit that she wore to the Late Show was awful. I think it was the jacket, it was just way to heavy and bulky for her. Hopefully that jacket never reappears, because it was not so good.

Her hair was beautiful though.
