Ok, so I just watched "Older and Far Away" from season 6 for the first time last night, and I was really impressed with the way Anya/Emma handled things. I was impressed with Emma's acting skills, but mostly the way Anya's character changed when she became locked in the house w/ the other Scoobies. Instead of being the normal, semi-ditsy Anya she usually was, she was serious and take-charge and kinda insane. I loved it! Bravo! Anyone else notice the change, or just me?

Yup, i had noticed to. And i agree with you there. Emma did great playing Anya in that ep. Its one of my fav to see her in. And i think that episode did alot of changing on people we had her and tara standing up to her, even though they were freinds and all. There was some good acting in this one... Great episode!! :)

I always really enjoy this ep and i'm always impressed by the way Anya deals with Dawn and the sticky fingers. Buffy's first instinct is denial while Anya is angry and hurt but is also understanding but will not allow Dawn to get away with it. She is willing to take responsability for teaching Dawn a valuable life lesson and is not worried about being the 'mean guy' in the senario. She's a striking contrast to Buffy who just dosen't want the responsability of Dawn at all.
