Diamond Select Toys has really been cranking out the merchandise lately. Unfortunately, most of it has been crap, like the Chosen Faith figure. (If you see pictures of this figure that look like Eliza, that was the proto, and the factories in China made the final product look horrendous.) But stuff like the Faith, Hope, and Trick Faith figure looks really good!
And in the following months (hopefully) we will be getting Buffy Deluxe Series 3, the Revamped Line, and the Judge Wave. Just check out [http://timespacetoys.stores.yahoo.net/bufvamslay.html]Time & Space Toys[/url] for pictures.
The Revamped Line is actually kind of interesting. It's taking the original figure line's place and they will be kinda dynamic. You can pose them and stuff in lotsa different ways and stuff so it looks kinda cool. First "Revamped" wave will feature the Buffster and Angel.
Deluxe Series 3 is the third wave in the popular Deluxe series, which is kind of like the little brother of the regular line. These came out a few years after the regular line started and now, three years later, we're getting Chosen Willow, White Witch Willow, Chosen Kendra, and Becoming Kendra in deluxe format. Oh! Deluxe kind of means they have more articulation and they can move better.
The Judge Series is the very last line of the regular figures to hit the shelves. It features Vampire Drusilla, School Hard Drusilla, Fear Itself Oz, Dopplegangland Oz, Principal Wood and Band Candy Giles. Each of these figures comes with a piece of the Judge so you can assemble him. Just like the show!
And finally, the Essence Of statues are going to be statues of (in order of release date) Spike, Buffy, Willow, and Angel. They each depict a scene that truly captures the character of each...um...character. They're expensive though, so start saving your pennies. :)
