I want to go to one too. That was the plan because I finally had the money. But then I noticed there are no conventions in England anymore. And if there are, they're too expensive. So I really don't know, and would love to know, because let's face it - I really wanna meet James. There are less Buffy cons now because Buffy is over. I mean, there are, but not in Europe. ::crying2:

Oh, okay. And wait...they cost?
this is the link to the site of the Conventions that i go to. i've already been to two Cons held by Sean Harry at Starfury, Not Fade Away in London last year and Decalogy in Blackpool in June of this year, and i'm going to Infinity in London in October. i'm not sure if they're holding any more Buffy/Angel/Serenity Cons, but you can keep checking back to the website.

Showmasters are really good, i've done some crewing for them in the past. They do the Collectormania and London Film and Comicon and have events in Glasgow and Manchester as well.

This site:
Whedon's World - Conventions (http://www.whedonsworld.com/conventions.html)
keeps a pretty much update track on all conventions involving at least one whedonverse guest. It's pretty detailed and rarely misses any out. Even included Amber Benson's Forbidden Planet tour last year which wasn't very well publicized.

I go to memorabilia(Memorabilia : Homepage : Memorabilia Events, Collectors, Collectors' Items, Sporting memorabilia, Celebrity Signings, Star Wars Memorabilia, Film TV Memorabilia, Pop memorabilia (http://www.memorabilia.co.uk)) in birmingham almost every time.
It's not so much a convention more of a big hall full of awesomeness at lower than store prices, however they do have a lot of signings and it's where I met Eliza Dushku.
I can't recall his name but I owe meeting her to a guy who told me I needed a special ticket to see her, this lead me to (and yes I have slight guilt about que jumping) rush around the que to the dude who was handing out the limited tickets, reach over a shoulder and nab a ticket.
Oh and I should add they guy who told me had a ticket from the day before (yes I went the first day, was told she wasn't doing anymore until the next day, so of course I went back the next day) and also said he would hold my place in line if my que jump didn't work and I got sent back.
Oh and I also don't fell guilt it was well worth it and everyone got a ticket in the end so it was all good, but the was no way I was risking not meeting her. hehe
