My favourite episode of Season 3 is easily The Prom. I just adore the part where Angel unexpectedly shows up, looking all 007 in his tux and asks Buffy to dance.. I STILL find myself rewinding that bit, just to see the look on Buffy's face when she see's he's there. And I love the song they dance to.. Wild Horses by The Sundays.. beautiful song and it fit in SO well. I also loved the fact the Buffy was so determined to give everyone the 'perfect prom'.. she just never gave up.

i love alot of s3 eps but the way Cordelia yells at Lyle(vamp) about how Buffy's the runner-up and shes the Queen and just that whole speech i thought was funny

Band Candy, it's hilarious...and I love that coat Giles steals for Joyce. The Wish and Doppelgangland, because I really like alternate reality and origin stuff. Amends because of Angel's "am I a righteous man?" speech....and snow!

Can't pick just one. It was a very solid season.

I love The Prom...mainly just for Buffy receiving the award. Those dog things were LAME though. They should have had a different type of demon to deal with. But anyways.

I picked them all but Gingerbread and even as bad eps go it wasn't the worst. Season 3 was a very strong season, I don't really have a bad word to say about it.

Lovers walk is so funny. Also shows a different side to Spike that you do not see in season two. It also has some funny lines of dialouge.

Very hard, season 3 had so many awesome eps, I can never decide which is my fav season: 2 or 3.

But for best ep: has to be Lover’s Walk. There was Spike, before he became all hung up over Buffy. He was so awesome in this ep: ‘Sod the spell, your friends are in the factory’; ‘I may be love’s bitch, but at least I’m man enough to admit it’ and that whole you’ll never be friends speech. Oh and of course Spike and Joyce! And also it was so sad, because it was the end of one of my fav pairings: Xander/Cordy.

But Enemies runs a close second with Angelus back/not back and the reveal to Faith. When Buffy says: ‘I am better than you’. Woah, so awesome.

The Wish or Dopplegandland because hello, Willow in leather and taking on the strong role at last. But in the end Dopplegandland because it showcased Evil Willow more by herself than amongst all the other AU characters in The Wish.

For me it can't be Dopplegangland, Dopplegangland would be number 3 on my list. For me The Wish, then The Zeppo, then Dopplegangland. The Wish was something totally unexpected and showed a what would have been experience, something the show never really did before. The Zeppo focused on Xander, just Xander, and we see the world through his eyes, which was amazing, they never did that before either. I love it when they do something entirely new, in which other people wouldn't ever do. It's fresh and gave 'BTVS' all the more idk *think of a word* Those to episodes were just perfect in my book, Dopplegangland was just really really cool, but not perfect.

My personal favourite is Xander holding the cross up to Willow and shaking it as if it's broken when she doesn't flinch away...genuis!

I like a lot of episodes out of this season especially Doppelgangland as we get to see Willow act bad for once.I also love Lovers Walk where Spike comes back and kidnaps Xander and Willow.

It's hard to pick the best episodes from season 3, cause they're all so good! But The Prom is high up there, i just love that episode =] Earshot is good too and Graduation Day Part 2, when all the kids take off their gowns to reveal all the weapons and stuff is great! It sends shivers down my spine every time heh

Wow. That's some hard core Bangel hate.

I actually kind of liked the prom. I'm not a huge Bangel fan, but I liked that they got their one last romantic moment and that the school recognized Buffy for her many attempts to save them. I do kind of wish she had danced with Giles, though. I'm not talking about anything romantic. Giles and Buffy have this father/daughter relationship going, so I think it's cute that he looked ready to make sure his little girl had a dancing partner. I wish Angel would have cut in rather than just coming in before Giles could ask.

Season 3 is one of my favorite seasons so picking just a couple of episodes isn't easy. I love the conflict between Buffy and Faith and their fight scenes are really good, but being a bangel my favorite episodes have to be Lover's Walk, Amends and The Prom. Lover's Walk was one of my faves because of the return of Spike. I enjoyed watching him in this episode. He was so funny!! Amends was just so cute bangel wise. Their speech at the end was heartbreaking and the Prom was equally as sad. I cried when her and Angel broke up, and I thought the speech about her at the Prom was so sad!!

Season three is my favourite, so I voted for about five or six, but one that always stands out to me is Choices, purely for the moment when Oz throws the bowl thing across the library, so they can't trade and maybe not get Willow back.
It's such an amazing moment. I gasp every time.

Season 3 is brilliant over all, though I am mostly just LOVE amends, I think its a really good Buffy/Angel episode and pretty emotional its all good except that really bad fake snow.

Season 3 was definately one of the best seasons.
I really love The Zeppo. Definately the best Xander-centric episode.
I also love Graduation Day Part 2, mainly because of the awesome battle at the end of the episode.
Other favourites include The Wish, Band Candy and Faith, Hope and Trick.

Well, I picked four... The Wish & Doppelgangland (two words: Vampire Willow), The Zeppo (the best Xander show ever, bar none), and Earshot (ranks for me as one of the scariest eps ever, and STILL manages to have excellent humour).

Those were just the absolute highlights of a very, very good season... aside from Gingerbread (imo, the stinker of the season because that on one time I'd LOVED not to have been served a supernatural explanation, but just human nature going wild with witchhunting paranoia... what a wasted opportunity, just as it was with "Ted"!) I really couldn't single out any eps as really sub-par.

Band Candy is one of the funniest episodes of Buffy I've seen and I LOVE teenage Giles.
Lovers Walk has Spike- enough said. Also, drunken depressed Spike is rather amusing.
The Zeppo I thought was really clever, and I can't wait to show my friend this one as he has decided after I keep showing him snippets, that he'll watch Buffy because of Xander- so he'll love it!
Doppelgangland I love because of Vampire Willow- so evil, so sexy, so gay!
And The Prom because when Buffy recieves her class protector award, I just burst into tears. Lame, I know.

Band Candy: I think it's kinda obvious...
Helpless: To me, that was probably one of te scariest episodes ever. It seemed like it was taken out of a Slash em' up horror movie. Plus, there's always that feeling of safety. Like, if something bad happens, it's all okay, because Buffy's here to save the day. This time... She's not...

Thats a tough one!!!! I am a huge fan of Prom and Graduation though. I thought Dopplegangland was hilarious! I loved Earshot and the quote buffy says to Johnathon in the tower. I was a big fan of Amends as well.

I could have picked them all, but narrowed it down to:
Anne (see username :lol: ) also it was the start of Buffy growing up and owning her abilities as a choice not a destiny (by choosing to come home).
Band Candy - cause of all the Joyce/Giles love, and Snyder "Summers, you drive like a spaz!" is one of my favourite lines ever for some reason.
Bad Girls - it's interesting, it tests a boundary they'd only danced around previously, plus i LOVE the way Buff jumps on Angel in the Bronze, makes my Bangel heart go all aflutter!
Earshot - amazing concept, pulled off pretty well, and it's true, the stuff about people being too busy with their own pain to notice someone else's. Also, B: "Why are you.....You had sex with Giles!? YOU HAD SEX WITH GILES?!?!?" J: "It was the candy! We were teenagers!" B:"On the hood of a police car?!" J:"I'll be downstairs, you feel better." B:"TWICE?!?!?" kills me every single time!
The Prom - the sadness, and then the perfectness of Angel making sure Buffy still got her perfect prom even if he has the worst ass-y timing for a break up ever.

Thought it was a great story to what could have been and just gets you thinking about the millions of alternate dimensions in the Buffyverse.

Anne:

1) A very heavy ep. Buffy runs away from her troubles--very unlike her. Very unheroic.

2) Kewl idea about a hell-dimension where time flows differently. People who go through rough times ages differently. Hmm...

3) However the ref to Gandhi was odd and I didn't get it. :(

Beauty...

1) Very complicated ep with Wolfie-Oz, Angel returning, the Jekyll/Hyde creature-feature element.

2) Heavy element: addressed physical/verbal/emotional abuse in relationships.

Wish:

1) Part One of the parallel Buffyverse.
2) Fun to see vamp-Willow.
3) The return of the Master. YAY! :lol:

Helpless:

1) very heavy, dark, well-written ep.
2) we see a sinister side to the Council.
3) Giles' inner turmoil over having to obey the Council's directive of the Cruciamentum, but not wanting to hurt his "daughter" Buffy.
4) The villain was truly menacing. Well played.
5) one of the rare times when Buffy is not up to snuff and must use more brains than brawn.
6) cool demise of the BBEG.

Zeppo: One of the funniest eps of the whole series. Zombies, peer pressure, magic galore, nookie with Faith. *sigh*

Dopple...:

1) Part Two of the parallel Buffyverse.
2) more vampy-Willow. MEEEOOWWW! :D

Earshot:

1) Addressed loneliness, alienation of the "uncool kids", suicide, mass murder.
2) neat monster concept: "aspect of the demon"
3) how could anyone hate the concept of glow-in-the-dark blood???
4) the blessing of Buffy's new powers fast become her curse!!!

Prom:

1) great monster concept: hellhounds. ('Though they looked silly, really. LOL. Too much like Oz-wolfie, IMHO.) BTW, are the Mahkash/Makhash Wars referenced at any other time in the Whedonverse? Maybe it was just a throw-away line.

2) Very touching Fourth Act. ;)

Barring a few duds like Anne and Beauty and the Beasts I would say that all of the episodes in season 3 are fantastic. Season 3 is my favourite season altogether and I wouldn't be able to choose between these episodes. There's just so much great character developement going on in this year in a wee subtle way - special mention going to The Zeppo and Doppelgangland.

And it has the introduction of Faith, the Mayor, Angel coming back, Anya's arrival, Wesley's arrival - aaghh! I can't choose individual episodes, it's too good:lmao:

The Wish and Doppelgangland cause we get to see evil Willow.

Lovers Walk-good fun and I love Spike.Loved the scene with him,Joyce and Angel.

Anne-cause we get to see Sunnydale without no slayer and Buffy's short-lived life in LA.

Amends-all about Angel facing up to the truth and loved the bit where he and Buffy stop arguing when they start to realise its snowing and then they walk through town together-so sweet.Also liked seeing everyone else wake up to the snow.:santa2:

Band Candy:very funny and cool especially all the scenes with Giles and Joyce.Loved the funny part where Giles jumps up and shouts yes when Buffy punches Ethan.

faith hope and trick as we get too see faith for the 1st time and she was an awesome character

band candy i mean come on we see the reall ripper how awesome was that! (one of the best episodes ever i think)

the wish was truely amazing

dopplegang land was awesome to have the return of vamp willow!

bad girls as we see buffy get sweeped up in the want have take lifestyle faith lives

and i loved the s3 finale of graduation day yeah way to destroy that high school lol

My favourite episode from this season is Lover's Walk, actually it's my best of the whole series, mainly for the ten or fifteen seconds right at the end of the episode, Spike singing along to the Sid Vicious version of My Way.

I'm only 3 episodes in and to mirror what every one else has said.....this season is way too good to pick just one.

I think thus far while it is all still fresh in my mind, I like 'Dead Man's Party' the best.

I despise zombies, they give me the grade a creeps. Vamps, werewolves, etc. etc....no big deal. Much like Buffy and latter seasons with a certain loved one almost comes a calling... well when the face of evil comes back wearing a loved ones disguise and smelling of rotten flesh...plus they want to eat me? Yikes! As Spike might say, that puts my wrinklies in full retreat mode.

This episode had zombies, thus it sort of creeped me out. Then there is the scene where Buffy stakes one and it doesn't work. That made me laugh.

Speaking of laughter...few things remembered about any of the episodes made me laugh as hard as Giles self narative as he speeds to Buffy and Joyces house....
"Unbeliavable, Do you like my mask? Isn't it pretty? It raises the dead....Americans."

This episode was a nice connect the circumstances for season 2's clincher when Buffy left. I was glad to see Buff's friends being mad about her 'bailing' plus it was nice to see their character growth. That was a true credit to the writers.

I'm not going to lie, I love Buffy, but this episode highlighted all the other cast i have come to love.

That scene where Buffy and co. go back and meet with Giles for the first time since she skipped town was very heart warming and that bit when Giles makes an excused exit to go get tea and just makes that face and shakes his head thankfull his 'daughter' returned to him...that is a tear jerker for those that can emote to that feeling of relief.

All I can say is excellent acting Anthony, I really felt it.

Also you have Snyder getting schooled by a "Ripperesque" Giles and a Willow coming into her own. (I loved her dynamic with Buffy)

Overall a very cool episode, but I'll reserve my vote till they all get equal time; I just kind of feel this ones abit of an unappreciated masterpiece. They could have been leprachauns and not zombies and I still would have dug it.

I'm also thinking about adding "NightHawk version 2.0" to my title in honor of my friend, Xander. :)

Okay I narrowed it down (for me)
1. Beauty and the Beast -- should have explored Oz's storyline more but the end with Buffy and Angel gets to me (Sarah and David nail that scene).
2. Lover's Walk--Spike missage is the only problem I have with Season 3 and this episode is hilarious and focuses on every character (Cordelia's heartbreak really gets to me).
3. Amends--I'm more of a Spike fan but Buffy and Angel's ending scene makes me cry everytime.
4. The Zeppo--finally a Xander centric episode.
5. Bad Girls--One of the biggest shocker endings for me (I know I'm slow)
6. Dopplegangland--Vamp Willow
7.Earshot--Buffy and Jonathan's conversation is one of the highlights of the series for me.
8. The Prom--I love Buffy finally getting a great highschool moment even though she had her heart broken.
9. Graduation Day I and II--A very fitting end to an era.

I love season 3, for some reason Band Candy is the episode that is the most vivid in my memory from when I was a kid. My only beef with season three is The Prom. I do like this episode, and I enjoy it in that girly Pretty In Pink way, but Im sorry I never brought into that whole class protector award thing, way too cheesy for my tastes!

Oddly, not really Faithy episodes huh? I didn't really like her until the end. It wasn't ever Faith I didn't like though....it was more Buffy and Faith together. Both are much more fun on their own...and less complainy.

I voted for Band Candy. I just love how the adults all acted like kids basically. Enjoyed Joyce and Rupert getting together. Loved how in a later episode (Earshot) when Buffy learns what they did.

I voted for several but at the very top of my list have to be The Wish and Dopplegangland. The Wish for its poignant awesomeness and Dopplegangland for its extreme hilarity. There are so many great moments in that ep, particularly:

Anya: I swear, I am just trying to find my
necklace.
Willow: Well, did you try looking inside the sofa in
Hell?

and:

Buffy: Willow, you're alive?!
Willow: (puzzled) Aren't I usually?
Buffy runs and hugs her and Xander immediately follows
Willow: (wonderingly) I love you guys, too?
Still hugging...
Willow: Okay. Oxygen becoming an issue.
They both let go, smiling at her with tears in their eyes. She smiles back, but still doesn't know what to make of it all.
Willow: Giles, what's going on with these...
Before she can finish she finds herself being attacked with a hug from Giles
Willow: Oh!
Giles: Oh. Sorry. (backs away)
Willow: (still wondering) It's really nice that you guys missed me. (wide-eyed) Say, you all didn't happen to do a bunch of drugs, did ya?
Xander: Will, we saw you at the Bronze. A vampire.
Willow: (startled, then insulted) I'm not a *vampire*.

LMFAO, I swear everytime I watch this episode I rewind and watch this scene at least 5 times.
