Where's Willow?

I don't usually watch "How I Met Your Mother," in fact, I can count the episodes I've seen on my thumbs, but I watched it last week, and I have a question. When did the makeover happen? If it hadn't been for the voice, I wouldn't have recognised Alyson at all. She looks great, not that she didn't as Willow, but still...

Well all through season 1, her hair was the usual red colour, then at the beginning of season 2 Alyson's hair colour changed from red to dark brown (or whatever colour you want to call it :P ) and she had side bangs, and now, just recently, she has proper/full bangs.

I guess that's the biggest problem when someone we adore moves onto something else. We're so stuck on them looking a certain way, or having a certain style, that anything else just doesn't do it for us. I've never seen the show either, but I've seen pictures of Alyson from it and I thought she always looked like Alyson, even when she was Willow. :) But that's just me!

But it is good that she does look different coz then it is easier to distinguish the different character. Her acting and everything does that anyway and the fact the show is nothing like buffy... it all helps I suppose.

She went back to dark hair (even darker than her natural color) during the summer between seasons 1 and 2. I like the dark color okay (don't much care for the bangs,) but I liked the red better. It looked really good on her in pretty much every shade she wore during BtVS.

There's actually a photo shoot floating around where she's wearing a blonde wig. But it's a really off-beat shoot.

I haven't watched many episodes of How I Met Your Mother so I just googled some promo pictures and she looks amazing!! She looks gorgeous with long dark brown hair!!
