Her means didnt justify her cause

Season 4 alot happened during offset and i truly believe that it was going to be something more until they switched it up at the last minute. All of Cordelia's actions were pure evil o matter what way you look at it. Everything she did though had nothing to do with the birth of Jasmine. I think Cordelia could have just stayed pregnant and shown everyone without hiding it and she could have went throughout the show non-evil because it didnt make any sense for what Jasmine was doing.

If in fact Jasmines actions were doing anything to help her be born then can somebody please tell me and correct me if i am wrong?

I think this was discussed briefly in another thread, but the consensus was that Cordy was supposed to be the big evil, but then Charisma turned up pregnant and WOULD NOT be able to do any of the fighty-shots. So they had to do the Jasmine thing at the last second.

Wait I don't get it. So it was originally meant to be Cordy who was evil? Why is that? Was she still going to be possessed?

It was supposed to be, and was, Charisma Chase's last season on the show. There had been contract problems, plus the producers weren't happy about her "Playboy" layout. She would've been either killed or placed in the "magically induced coma" thing at the end of the season regardless. The timing of her pregnancy just added to the reasons to write her out of the show.

Ok going back to the original question, justified or not, it was meant to be a distraction. Jasmine knew she couldn't be upfront about any of this because AI wouldn't accept it (they tend to like their free will). Her actions, she claims did justify the means because although she murdered thousands she did it to save billions and billions in the long run. Her POV was that without her many more would suffer. A few months of bloodshed for an eternity of happiness. Jasmine also argues that there are know moral maxims other what we choose and she was choosing overall happiness over what she perceived as misery.

Angel from his own beliefs found her means of not only killing thousands but also robbing people of free will abhorrent. Happiness means nothing if our fate is not our own.
