Who did you want to see in the musical?

I was just curious as to which characters people would have liked to see in the musical. This isn't a "They should have done this!!!" Thread, it's just to say who you want to see sing, dance and joke. If you wanted to see someone who isn't on the list, just say who in a post. ^_^

Ethan and the Trio would have been so amazing. I think it really would have fit. Maybe Harmony, too. The Trio and Harmony were already pretty funny, so it wouldn't have been such a stretch, and then Ethan is just so... I don't know how to describe it.
I also voted for Angel, but now that I think about it, I only picked that because I can't see it happening.

I choose The Trio because they fit the season and they would have been hilarious but now that I think about it it would have been funnier if Angel came back and sang and danced. =)

i voted Angel and Faith...Angel was hiarious sining Mandy, i would have liked something funny like that in this ep. i probably would have rolled the floor lmao!

i voted for Faith because i would have liked to have heard what she was really feeling. i can imagine that her song would have been quite dark and full of emotion, guilt over what she had done maybe? or maybe something to do with her jealousy of Buffy.

I picked Joyce and Dru.

Zombie Joyce or something. That would have been sad, yeah, but it also would have been great to have seen her again. I miss Joyce. :-(

But who I'd really like to see sing would be Dru. I imagine she'd sing something hauntingly beautiful -- about something totally nonsensical, like baby fish heads. I think it would have been a blast to see Dru dancing and singing in that beautiful, eerie, offbeat way of hers.

I picked (after mucho mucho thinking) Faith, Joyce and The Trio.
Faith because I can imagine some kick ass number being sung there. Possibly a head-to-head duet between her and Buffy. Now *that* would have been interesting.
Joyce because well, I ditto Palabra there. I miss Joyce and that's pretty much the it...
And The Trio because...well doesn't that have the potential to be the funniest most lighthearted number ever?

Personally, I chose Faith. She's one of my favorite characters, and I really wanted to see her more in the series in general, especially the musical. I've been thinking of writing a song for her...

Faith was cool. I kind of like that they used her sparingly, though. The whole "bad slayer" thing could have gotten old if she didn't have to suffer any consequences for her behavior. I think the coma and the prison time actually served to make the character cooler. Not only did those incidents assist with her development, but they also elevated her popularity. Seeing Faith was always a treat for the fans.

I want to see Angel and Spike drunk together. They're always so funny when they're together. Drunk + Together = hilarious. Singing and dancing and making complete fools of themselves would be even more greatly appreciated. Why oh why couldn't we have had a musical episode of Angel?

I'd rather have had a scene with the Trio. I could just see a song where the three of them sing all happy smiley too each other but break to separate parts of the basement, singing a verse alone. Warren's thirst for power, Jonathon's desire to fit in and Andrew doing something goofy but fitting his insecurities.

last night i was thinking that since cordelia is hot and all, i would have loved to have seen what she would have been like in OMWF. but then it dawned on me, she HAS sung on buffy before! season 1, ep. 9 "the puppet show." she sings a portion of the song "the greatest love of all" for the talent show.

I think one of the more brilliant aspects of the musical episode is how it ties into the sub-plots of season six so well, and advances them even further. While seeing Faith, Harmony, etc. sing and dance would have been great, based on the more serial nature of season six then any of the seasons thus far, it would have been funny seeing how the Trio would have reacted to Sweet's spell and how what's revealed of their songs would have played into the storyline. (Maybe Warren singing about his more ambitious plans, Jonathan's reluctance to do evil, Andrew's huge man crush on Warren and so forth). That said, the finished product - and how it's centered around the main characters - is more then enough. :)

But wasn't it sort of like the essence of the Trio to just not be worth mentioning? They think they are supervillains, when (especially at the beginning of season6) they were just annoying the Scoobies. So why would anybody mention them?

Not exactly sure what you mean, I sort of ment the Trio talking amongst themselves about it, and referring back to those events. You're correct in how the Scoobies would regard them.
