I liked most of them, except the finale which was just okay :s

"Over The Rainbow" was good and very funny!

But "Through The Looking Glass" was hilarious and dramatic! I love that episode!

Two of my favourite funny moments here are : Angel's initial panic when he realised it was daytime when they landed in Pylea and being so happy he wasn't incinerated. The other is also Angel fussing about his hair because for the first time in two centuries, he can see himself in the mirror.

A more serious scene that touched me was when Fred didn't even flinch when she saw Angel's pure demon face because she knew somewhere inside that hideous facade is the handsome man on a horse who saved her. And Fred became Angel's most loyal friend, one that trusted him completely. Sigh.

(I can only sigh in words because I can't get to the smilies because our server here is doing the dance of confusion probably because of the strong winds we've been having here for two weeks now. Annoying lah!)

Weren't those the cutest moments ever?

The most sad one was when Fred knew she was going to die. I mean, we know she wasn't going to but her character didn't know. She thought Angel was going to kill her and she was so brave.
TEAR!

I'm in the minority here, but I didn't like Pylea.

I like that we got Fred. I liked some of the jokes. I liked Lorne's decapitation. I liked a lot of things. Really, though, I thought it lasted too long. I was anxious to get back to the real world and see what was going on there.

I think that was kinda the point...keep Angel in another dimension so he can't be anywhere near Sunnydale

Probably. I didn't watch Buffy and Angel concurrently, though. I do remember that when he came back, Buffy was dead, so your theory is a good one. I was just watching Angel at the time, though, and I felt like the Pylea thing lasted for way too long. It had its fun parts, like I said, but I was glad when it was over -- and we got Fred out of the deal, too, so bonus!

Have we already stopped talking about the Dance of Joy. Come on people!!

The whole reason for us seeing Pylea was for them to embrace upon us 'The Dance of Joy'

Why else would we have met Lorne's mother.. the man looking mother if not to see the Dance of Joy, surely not to heal Lorne's Psyche so he knew his rightful place was in our dimension.

*Does the Dance of Joy*

I know one of you wants to do it. Come on... Come on... :lmao:

Fine! But I still think it is one of the coolest things in the episode'(s) The most memorable thing in it in my opinion.

i enjoyed the break from W&H, i liked Cordy as the queen and we got Fred. plus once scene i thought was brilliant was when eveyone was looking at Lornes head in a basket and they're like 'he was' 'yeah' then lorne opens his eyes and says 'thats it' and eveyone jumps back in shock :lmao:
Lornes family was funny too

I loved the Pylea episodes, it was such a fun way to end the Season, which had been pretty dark with the whole of the Darla story. It was a great fantasy story and really just lifted the mood of the Season.

Seems I'm also in the Pylea dislike minority. There were some great moments, sure, but overall it didn't grab me. The "alternate dimension" thing just seemed silly to me. Although Fred was interesting, it all dragged out too long. I much prefered the LA stuff.

I would love to see Buffy and Faith somehow wind up there, and have to depend on and really trust each other in order to survive. They might finally, actually, become friends at last.

See, I liked Pylea. It was really funny and all, Fred is great... But I also have this feeling about "getting to the real world" Plabravampiress said. And, cīmon.. Groo is terrible. The actor is terrible, the charc ir terrible *hated*

I started watching Angel with the ep when they drive the auto into Pylea. I was like "WTF?!?!" :looking:

I liked the "Mediaeval-ish" nature of Pylea, but they kept calling all the humans cows...even the male humans! That just isn't right! A male bovine is a bull. That would have made for some funny lines right there!

GUNN: "Hey! Who you callin' bull, chump? You don' wanna mess with these horns!"

Any ep where Cordy is in a skimpy outfit is grand. :D

I was hoping they'd spend a bit more time there, or at least return to further develop the world a bit more. *sigh*
