Mr Boreanas is an excellent actor who always, in my experience at least, gives everything he has to the role he plays. With Angel, he had a particularly challenging task, playing a good/bad man trying to live down two centuries of inflicted torture, pain and violence while functioning in a world where that same violence was not only allowed, but necessary. He's no John Wayne or Charlton Heston, but then, I'm not too sure that the Duke, God rest his patriotic soul, could have convincingly played a vampire.

I think I'll have to agree with you there about Mr.Wayne, unless it was maybe a Cowboy Vampire? The Duke as one of the Gorches? doesn't seem right.

Onto the main event, I personally find David Boreanaz annoying in interviews but I have to give the man respect for what he did with Angel the character, especially his stints as Angelus. He was so charismatic, so enthralling. For a man who is apparently one of the nicest people on the planet he plays a true b*****d brilliantly!

What is it with David and interviews that people winge about? he just isn't very good at them on camera being himself. Some people are natural some aren't. He was good on radio one (I think) before christmas, maybe because he wasn't infront of the camera, being himself. He was pretty comfortable, and he does get asked the same questions about his lack of diva so he gives the same answer using the word "responsibilty" alot which I find amusing!

I can't comment much on the actor, other than he is totally gorgeous and I think he's very good at the roles he plays.

As for him playing the character of Booth in Bones I think he's amazing. He takes the broodiness of Angel, to a lesser extent, plus he provides the amusement in the episodes. Booth and Brennan have amazing chemistry and they play very well at the whole Mulder/Scully tension.

He was great as Angel. I totally fell in love with that character (now Angel is in second place, only to Booth ;)). He plays brooding, tortured soul perfectly and then the role of Angelus in Buffy was such a well played out surprised character. He appeared totally different to Angel. I thought he played a woman really well in 'I Pnly Have Eyes For You.' lol

Ah, if my husband found out I was reading this board, lol. I have the hugest crush, ever since I started watching Bones (didn't know who he was before then). It was because of Bones that I started watching Buffy and Angel. My husband knows all about my little crush and never stops teasing me. Of course he has his own obsession with Eliza Dushku that I constantly hear about (man was he mad when they canceled Tru Calling). Actually the other day he was watching Bring It On and then right after that he watched the New Guy--just to see Eliza. We are both dorks.

I liked him as Booth more than as Angel. It felt like Booth was more like David than Angel, he's fun, teasy...
