I just watched this episode, and I found it really kinda cool! I love the idea of Buffy being a guidance counsellor, some of the kids are pretty funny! I was surprised at the end when the girl died! But then again, maybe I wasn'y because she knew- and when she was in Buffy's office she said
" And you will try to help"
So did she know that buffy was the slayer? did she know that the group of boys would try and sacrifice her??? She didn't seem to! hmmm....what do you think???

I dont think she knew any of those things, only that she was inevitably going to die and that buffy was to help her. But she didnt know she was the slayer, per se. just the person who was going to be involved. It truly is a sad episode, i definitely get misty eyed at the end of it.

If you watch again, you'll see that she did pick up on a lot of things. She knew Buffy was going to help her, she knew that something would happen to her with coins, she knew about the coffee spilled on Buffy's shirt. She was probably clairvoyant.

Cassie was very cute, too. ;)

I saw the actress (Azura Skye) on House a few months ago. I thought she was cute there, but completely failed to recognise her because she had dark hair! I am easily baffled, apparently. ;)

I do think it's a pity they wasted such an appealling actress on a one-shot character though (esp with so many of those 'Potentials' coming in. One can't help but think she would have been a better choice than most of the ones they DID cast...

Azura Skye was on Bones recently as well. And genius, might I add.

This is a great episode. Is it weird that even though she was in this one episode and briefly appeared in one other one that I always think of her when I think of the show. To me she made a much larger impact than I think she was meant to have, and she's one of my very favorite characters, despite her absence from 142 episodes of the series.

Cassie was psychic but obviously didn't receive full visions, she just knew things. And I don't think she knew Buffy was a Slayer, or even that vampires existed.

No she didn't have the same thing as Cordelia. Cordelia had...movies with headaches. Drusilla had premontions- at least that's what we gather from flashbacks and from her mad ramblings.

As Cassie said she just had a knowledge. She didn't get visions, or premonitions or ghosts telling her what was to happen. She just knew. She didn't even have details, she just had a knowledge. Like she knew she was going to die on Friday but had no idea how.
