anyone notice the clue in this ep that buffy went to heaven and not hell at the very start of scene 10 where she is walking in a grave yard and the camara angle makes it look like she has wings

Never noticed that. Hm, gotta re-watch it. Yet, creatures from hell are winged-too. I just never understood Why she should end up at Hell at all. Like, she's been fighting on a Good's side, despite Dracula's hints of Dark source. Still, all she ever did was to sacrify for [Good], fight, resist Evil. She never was a villain. There's no reason of going to Hell, especially after willingly dying for Dawn and Humanity in whole.
Scoobies' just been living too long near the Hellmouth... lol

I think the "Buffy might be in Hell!" thing was a way for them to rationalize their selfish wish to have her back.

i have seen that! i love the way joss does this with other things too, like before Angel goes all Angelus, they are kissing and it pans over that tombstone that reads "In Loving Memory" as a hint to what is going to happen. He's so amazing at this little hints and such.

Hmm...I've never seen that Wings Shot. Will have to watch the episode again. hehe.
As for the whole 'why would Buffy be in hell anyway' thing; yeah, it was, I think, the gang's way of trying to reason for their selfish want of just simply wishing to have Buffy back. But 'officially' they were saying that because when Angel went into a portal he got sucked into Hell, so they were worried that the same thing had happened to Buffy when she jumped into a portal in The Gift.
