I totally love this episode. It's gots tons of fun in it.

Poor Xander. I felt really bad for him when he bought that necklace for Cordelia and then she breaks up with him. But then I felt bad for Cordelia when he asked for it back, and she had it on! That was a surprise.

What do you all think?

Another good Season 2 standalone and a good comedy episode. We see Amy go all Witchy on her own for the first time and see how deeply Xander respects Buffy.

And also how far Oz went out of his way to defend Willow when he even thought Xander had hurt her. Plus, Buffy Rat rofl.

The whole Xander/Dru/Angelus scene is great. "We should be safe in here" "Works in theory" *yoink*:lmao:

This was one of the best stand-alone episodes of the season. I loved it. The entire storyline is hilarious.
And when Xander confesses to Giles what has happened, do you notice Giles doesn't seem too concerned until Jenny starts coming onto the boy. Haha.
And Xander's expression at each come-on, they are just fantastic to see. He doesn't initially click that Jenny's coming onto him and then he just keeps looking at her hand stroking his arm and he goes all wide-eyed. And much later on, by the time she tries to kiss him, he seems to have almost given up and just sighs at her with a 'yep, she's at it again' expression.
And by the time Joyce comes onto him, he's *really* lost all hope, haha as you just hear his exasperated 'whatever' before his head slumps down on the table.

And yes, it was all a scavenger hunt of course.....

I love this episode, from start to finish its just fantastic. my favourite scene is probably When Buffy walks in to the librbaby in the trench coat...its just too funny, oh and of course Joyce...how creepy was her 'Let Joycey in'! Great ep!

I loved the way Buff and Will reacted as well as Jenny. But I liked the Oz/Buffy scene when she transformed back into a person and Oz goes to get her clothes!
The beginning was very sad for Xander and he was completely right, who breaks up with someone on that day of all days!

I just love the whole Buffy in the trench coat thing.

It was really nice to know that Xander wouldn't take advantage of her. I always thought that he would, after the way he treated her in "The Pack"

"For the love of God, don't open that raincoat" :)

And then the foreshadowing relationship between Xander and Willow, when she was in his bed. Just laid the groundwork!

being a huge Xander fan, i just love this ep. it's fantastic, from start to finish. it was really great to see Nick step up to the plate and be able to carry an entire episode. i love the scene where he's walking down the hallway in slow motion and all the girls are drolling and thr guys are looking at him like they wanna skin him alive! plus, the Xan-Man's hot in that scene! lol

i adored the Cordy/Xander relationship, and when i first watched this, i really did think that was the end. i thought Cordy would bend to the pressure of her friends and end it. but when i saw that she was wearing the necklace he gave her, despite breaking up with him, i knew they weren't over. her little speech to Harmony was priceless! and the look on her face when she realized that Xander had tried to use a love spell on her. she should have been outraged but she was actually really touched! :lmao:

I do like that part when Cordelia realizes that the spell was for her. I always thought that Cordy and Xander made a great couple, and I wished they could've stayed together longer.

I just rewatched this episode as I walked on the treadmill. It's a great episode through and through.

Especially when Giles is telling Buffy about the things Angel does on Valentine's day. "Skip it. I don't have a puppy. I don't want to know" :)

What I liked most about this episode is that Cordy finally had the guts to stand up against her friends' shallowness and be her own person.
