Well I just got finished with this film about 20 minutes ago. I must say...if Sarah wasn't it in, it would have been painful. I was able to sit through it without gouging out my eyeballs. Reason? Sarah. I just smiled through the whole thing because she is so cute and so talented. I mean, the movie wasn't the worst I have ever seen but it wasn't that great either. Had some fun moments, funny moments and touching moments. But don't sit down with this film and expect too much. When you don't do so, you will enjoy it a whole lot more.

So, I recommend it and I don't all at the same time. Well it's Sarah just watch it.

I tried to buy this movie on Tuesday when it was released. I could not find it at the store. I want to watch it so bad, because I was itching to watch it in the theatres, but it never was really released in places near where I live, which sucked.

Too bad to hear that it's not that good though. But neither was "Harvard Man" and I still watched that. :)

It was cute enough and I did enjoy it but not enough that I see me wanting to rent/watch it again.

For those of you who have it or are going to see it, help my ears out here...
I think it was around 12min 20sec (i made a mental note at the time and forgot about it till TabulaRasa posted about the movie), when Alec says goodnight, listen close, rewind and re-listen if you have to... I did.
I swear he says "Goodnight Buffy".
I'm not über-crazy, honest. It just sounded like that's what he said - cause "Goodnight Brett", it did not sound like.

Spoiler much:

Alec Baldwin's character, twice as old as her, and has a daughter her age.. can you say gross and eww factor. But seeing Sarah happy, in any way shape or form, shadows that completely, and makes me smile. Seeing her smile makes me smile. She was so cute in this movie. "Don't be a fool Archie, marry that little hussie." :lmao: lol!! and horny Sarah at the movies and then her dad calls her! haha I loved that part

But when he makes Sarah sad he makes me upset. Which makes me angry, at him. So there in lies the problem. I only want to see Sarah happy, and for a movie to be a movie Sarah can't always be happy :s . Which is life and all but it sucks, I love seeing her happy. So a tiny part of the movie I didn't like it.

After that though when he helped her out, that was touching, made me smile haha. Cause it made her smile ;) Still he cheated on her, and is still tice her age... but again if he makes her happy, I can't argue. Plus he made me laugh.

"57." - her dad

"And I'm 50, so that makes me younger than Robert. So everybody feeling good about that right now?" - archie

"I am very relieved" - brother

"How old were you when Brett was in third grade?" - brother

"Brett skipped third grade." - archie

"Zing. Well played" - brother

lol lol lol

Aww and when Archie and Robert, her father are asleep on the couch, how can you not laugh! Then they lay on the drama.. Wow. I realize I tend to write boring recaps of alot of things I watch.. maybe I should stop doing that, nah. So where was I? Oh yes, Drama.

Oh wait.. no they didn't :lmao: :lmao: "He's my boyfriend. I have Sex with him." hahahaha then, then they layed on the drama and Sarah cried  Thankfully it wasn't layed on too hard and her brother was able to comfort her, which turned a sad mournful moment into a touching moment. I love those type of scenes.

Brett making Archie cry was sad, touching, happy, joyous. I don't know it was beautiful. Not the hurting him the .. eh, I suck at the explaining, uh, the realization that it was over but it wasn't a bitter over, it was a happy, saddish ending.. lol whatever I liked it.

I would give this movie an 8 out of 10 :)

I want to see more of Sarah as a cute and intelligent girl, falling in love.
