I just started watching Season 4, and I'm wondering how Buffy knew that Angel was in Los Angelos in Episode 3. Did I miss something? I know he called her in Ep. 1, and didn't say anything, but I didn't see any other communcation between them in Ep. 2 or 3.

More importantly, how did she know WHERE he was in LA? Possibly Cordy called home to talk to one of the old gang and mentioned that she was working with Angel Investigations' With that to go on, buffy wouldn't have a whole lot of trouble tracking Ol' Broody down.

Hmm yes I suppose it would have made sense if someone had talked to Cordy, but it wasn't mentioned right?

I don't ever remember it being mentioned. I never noticed it before. I just assumed that he'd gotten word to her about where he was, but thinking about it, he never said bye to her and him hanging up in ep 1 doesn't show that they were at least on speaking terms at that point.

Didn't Angel mention he was going to LA when he broke up with Buffy at the end of season 3? Don't know if this is actually true, but I really believe he said i at one point.

In The Prom this was said:
Angel: I'm leaving. After the Ascension, after it's finished with the Mayor and Faith. If we survive, I'll go.
Buffy: Where?
Angel: I don't know.
I can't find anything in Graduation that says were he was going but I did just skim the text.

Ohh damn - you're right.
If only they lived in a world that a week was more than 44 minutes and a member of his team had connections to Sunnydale that MIGHT have reason to stay in touch.
I can't for the life of me explain this one.
Normally I have some weird or wacky idea but like a telephone call from Cordy or Angel to someone in Sunnydale letting them know where they are in case of emergency but dang we never saw that so it can't have happened.
Wait, maybe Buffy knew because it was all a dream and at the end of season 8 she'll wake up and Angel will walk out of the shower and it will be just before Angel lost his soul again.
Thats believable - right?

I'm going to ignore the sarcasm and just question your points anyway.
Who would Cordy have phoned, she was hardly on chatty terms with any of the Scoobies. I can not see Cordy phoning anyone of them up and saying ''Hi, I'm in LA with Angel, just thought I'd phone and tell you how much of a success I'm not making of my movie career.''
Then there's Angel. He left on no speaking terms with any of the Scoobies after Buffy's trip to the hospital due to his biting her.

Spy network perhaps? hahaha. I don't know maybe when Cordy moved to L.A Xander got her number or something. I mean he did show in The Prom he was an adult enough to see past the badness that happened between them, so it'd would sorta make sense for Xander to check on her to make sure she's okay.
I mean knowing Cor she would be like'oh everything's going great but you would never guess who is here' and therefore mentions Angel's presence.
Okay, I'm stretching. I admit it.

No, she still had friends in Sunnydale that she would keep in touch with and why not Xander.
He is one of the few people she can turn to with some of her big problems.
It is a little pathetic if you need every single detail documented in this regard because you can't find a half way decent suggestion to fill in a very small, pointless, blank.
Slayer Comma The - please don't think that pathetic comment was at anyway directed at you:)

It's not pathetic...its called a discussion thread, people have things they want answers to and people offer their points of view.
If you have a look around the board you'll see that most threads ask about missing links in the show.

If you can't overlook the inconsequential because you need a definitive answer given to you from the powers that be and poo-poo the most obvious, which is probably why the writers left it out because they were hoping the viewers would be mentally capable of making that leap(Joss leaves NOTHING out accidentally and the first half of season 1 of Angel was Joss' big project so you could bet the farm he was going through every step with a fine tooth comb), then that is pitifully inferior or inadequate which is, surprise surprise, the definition of pathetic.

I was just asking if I missed something when I watched it, didn't mean to start a fight. Geez.

Jules disagrees: Its not funny, its rude and BotD you need to grow up!!
I never said it WAS funny, I explained why you were wrong and used the Merriam-Webster definition of a word to show why I used it and why it was in context.
The problem here so obviously falls at your feet because of a very definite need to be right and even more obvious dislike of being informed where you lack common sense.
Have you sought help for this?
Anyway, back to the thread.
Sometimes the most obvious answer is the best and least complicated so Babyo0ogirl, pretend you saw Cordelia give Xander a call just asking where she could send a cheque for the dress he paid off for her and he in turn asked 'How is everything' and then all your answers will be neatly solved:)

I shouldn't bite, I should really keep on topic but I can't let that slide.
I don't mind being proved wrong, in fact I love a good discussion. Babyo0ogirl brought up a topic that she had a query with and you ripped her thread to pieces. The thing that I didn't like about your post, and I quote, was this:
''It is a little pathetic if you need every single detail documented in this regard because you can't find a half way decent suggestion to fill in a very small, pointless, blank.''
That has nothing to do with any point your trying to make. It was rude and uncalled for. People come to this board to discuss their opinions on Buffy, not to have some arrogant know it all belittle their opinion.

Before you guys go too far with this, and I must point out that I have to agree about the courtesy thing, unless you plan to meet up somewhere in and duke it out like gentlemen, the only solution is harsh words at thirty paces, and that might be better handled in private messages than here. As was pointed out to me not too long ago, there are young people on this forum who really don't need to see the grownups acting so childish.
