when i try to check my private messages, i get this message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4096001 bytes) in /home/vilandra/public_html/bb/ad_network_405.php on line 18

is this just me? does anyone know why it is doing this or how to fix it?

It seems to be happening to everyone at the moment. Not sure why but I'm sure Buffy Summers or one of our more technically able staffers will be along soon to sort it out.

I'm getting that when i click the new replies since last visit button. It's only been like that since the site went down a few hours ago

They did some work on the server earlier and I think it's related to that. I think I've got it fixed but I've also contacted them about it.

Do you think this may be somehow related to the trouble several people had getting on a couple of days ago?

No, that was on their end. The host was doing maintenance today to try and decrease server load.

I had a slight problem this morning, I had to log on again 3 times.
It took me ages to find my password again.
