The Harvest [Book]

The Harvest is written by Richie Tankersley Cusick and is based on the episodes Welcome to the Hellmouth and The Harvest.

It's pretty much scene for scene of the show, there's only about two extra little bits in the book. It's good reading the thoughts behind the actions and like I said, its the episodes that aired on the show.

Has anyone else read it?

I own a copy of it but started reading it then realised it was just the episode in written form so I stopped reading it. I didnt get very far into it as I didnt really want to read something that I had already seen ;) Im so slack!

I own it and of course I read it. I think its alright but I don't think it was nessasary to write it

I read it several years back when the first series of books came out. I'm one of those obsessive perfectionist people so I was like 'I can't have the others and not have the first one' so off I went and bought it. It's a good novelization of the episode and seems to honor the characters when going into the thoughts and feelings behind their actions but it since it is an episode that has aired on TV and I prefer to watch said action than read it, I can only go through it once, maybe twice. However, it still has a place on my shelf. Haha.
