Bad Bargain

This Buffy novel is called Bad Bargain. have you read it? well its REALLY good!kinda strange but I really liked it!

I adored this novel. It was written in such a way that it could easily be an unaired episode of Buffy, just slipping into season 2.
Snyder being eaten by the brain munching worms was hilarious especially when he starts asking everyone which tie he should have (It must match because the mayor matches his!!)
And I just liked the inventiveness of each parasite and what it did to each of it's victims and I liked the gang's wariness around Willow when she became attached to 'Cutie'.
And yet again, Gallagher gets the dynamics right on the money. Spike and Dru are great together; she has Dru insane enough to make sense with tough Spike doting on her. We get a hint of the truce that he and Buffy will have in Becoming. The dynamic as a whole though with the Scooby Gang is perfectly pre-Surprise/Innocence and I could seriously see this being aired on screen as part of season 2.
Plus it hints at Joylesy goodness (Where there is a paragraph about Giles saying he'd always found Buffy's Mom to be attractive and he hated seeing what her particular demonic parasite was doing to her) and also, bonus points, for a semi-main part for Joyce. Hehe.

But yes, I just love any time Diana writes in the Buffyverse. She gets everything so spot on.
