Arc discussions thread

What arcs/themes would you like to discuss? We had an idea a while ago to discuss the Pylea arc.

List possible ideas and suggestions here. I would like to do one in the month of March, so let's get the juices flowing! :)

Does this constitute a theme or an arc?

I'm not sure on either.

I think the Darla/Angel arc is definitely a good one to discuss and honestly, I want to discuss the Jasmine one and defend it because i'm tired of people poo-pooing season 4's great arc because it affected Cordelia the way it did.

Maybe we need a clear cut definition of a 'theme' and an 'arc' I myself am not totally clear.

I know that the Angel/Darla history lesson throughout the seasons is definitely considered an arc. That would be a great one to discuss. We would probably need a list of the eps that show their history, just so we know which ones to focus on. I know the major ones, but there are a lot of them through season two that showed their background which were great flashbacks.

I'm with ya on discussin Jasmine too. I might not like her, but that storyline did dramatically effect the characters and such.

I was actually suggesting that the Gunn thing was neither.

Theme would be something that happened a few times and arc is more than a one episode deal.

I suppose you could also class any character on the show as an 'Arc' because their personal story arc begins the moment they appear and ends on their last moment.

We should have guidelines about what we wish to discuss though i'm still for Darla/Angel.
