Season 8 as a book?

okay, this is probably a stupid question, and I apologize in advance if sb already asked this, but I was wondering if season8 of Buffy also exists (or will be published at some point) as a normal book?
I really want to know what happens in season8, it's just that I deeply abhor comics and am not very eager on buying any if I can avoid it.
Does anybody know?

It could happen. They did a book of the complete season 7. Most of the stories were abridged, but it was a good read.

I kinda hope it is.... the comics lack some serious detaily stuff I got used to seeing on the screen.... books would totaly give me that back!

A book or series of books based on Season 8 would be a really great idea if it were written by the right author.

It wouldn't surprise me, but if it happens it might turn out to be one of those "be careful what you wish for" situations. Remember when they did that with season 7 and brought out that book, it was either called Chosen, or The Chosen?

I haven't read it, but I heard it was horrible. Joss doesn't write the books. He doesn't even read them. You're taking a chance on what you get.

I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I would jump at the chance to read Season 8 in book form rather than comic form. I have read the other posts about season 8 but have been unable to get a good clear storyline in my mind. I would love to see Joss write it, I dont know how realistic my dream is though!

I think that if this will happen; a novelisation of Season 8, that is. It will probably be done after the season completes... which is somewhere in 2010... right?

It won't surprise me if there's a book, but if Joss writes it I'll look out my window to see if the moon's turned blue.
