Does anyone here have a Buffy card collection?
I don't have much, I just have the 10th anniversary set. I am missing alot of the specialty cards tho. Just have the Leader of the slayers set on top of it. And season 8 cards as well.
I do have The Wish card game set and the pergamum prophecy. I have no idea how to play them so they sit in the box.
Does anyone else have any buffy cards or card games?

I have the set of the 10th Anniversary Cards, the set of the Men of Sunnydale Cards, and the starter decks & Angel's Curse cards for the game, but like you, have no idea how to play them, so they sit in the box. Kinda sad, huh?

I've been collecting Buffy and Angel Inkworks cards since '02. I haven't even started collecting the 10th Anniversary set, but I hope to start reasonably soon. As of now, I have every other Buffy and Angel binder, base set, and chase set(except for some chase cards from earlier seasons and a couple promos). So far, I have complete master sets of: Buffy Connections, Buffy Women of Sunnydale, Buffy Men of Sunnydale, Buffy Big Bads, Buffy Photocards, Angel Season 3, and Angel Season 5. There are several sets that I'm really close to having complete - within 5 cards or less.
I did have some CCG cards, but like you guys, had no idea what to do with them - so I passed them along.
I really enjoy the trading card hobby, but it's really addictive!

I have actually started collecting them now, well I have the Woman if Sunnydale base set and I have ordered Season 7 & the 10th anniversary set.
So I have a bit of a way to go yet! They are a bit confusing as not only do you have the base sets there are special card etc which can be quite costly.

Well, since no one seems to have the rules, and my google-fu turned up no archived copies of the pdf rules the official site hosted I did manage to find this for the CCG'ers. It is not the official site, but seems to be the most informative left available.
Buffy CCG (http://www.buffyccg.com/)
It does contain a downloadable FAQ on certain aspects of the game: movement, fighting, items, etc.
These should be enough to play a game, or at least understand how it is played. Without looking at a copy of the rules I can't say for certain.
If someone has a rulebook and can scan the pages I will happily convert them to pdf and make it searchable via my ABBYY Finereader; suitable for hosting to anyone who wants the rules. Especially since they no longer seem to exist online anywhere.

Iīve only get base sets so far, but Iīve got these:
Men of sunnydale
Women of Sunnydale
Spike - the complete story
Season 6
Season 7
10th anniversity
Memories
And then something I thought was season 5 but turned out to be a mix of season 5 and 6 which included "minisets" (within the basic set so to speak) like "Spike", "Witchcraft" and "Life after death". For the moment I have no idea that the set is called though.
And then I have Angel season 1-5 and the Firefly set. All base sets.

I was wondering if anyone here thought Buffy cards were worth collecting? I know a guy who sells Buffy cards at a local flea market I go too. I don't understand the whole game concept but was thinking about buying them just to collect.

I have the Men of Sunnydale and Women of Sunnydale complete sets. One of my dads friends gave me them recently after I told her I was a Buffy fan.

Hmmm....I'm trying to figure out which cards you're talking about. The base cards are #'d 1-90, which include episode cards and then titled subsets, like season 5 has "The Beastiary", "Evolution", "BotVision", and "Losses". Then there are bonus sets(or referred to as "chase sets"), like season 5 has a 9-card puzzle called "Protectors of the Key" and 6-card set called "Big Bad Crush". I remember when I was brand new to the trading card hobby, and it took me forever to figure all this stuff out. And once you start getting into autograph and pieceworks cards, it starts getting crazy. :)
If anyone would like any help or info about the Buffy or Angel Inkworks cards - please feel free to PM me! I've been collecting for a while, so I may be able to help.

Hmmm....I'm trying to figure out which cards you're talking about.
Well first itīs 9 card of the villains (including Spike) of season 5 card. Then itīs the Scooby gang (also including Spike) and if you turn them over together they show a big picture of the gang. Then itīs 9 card of "Dawns diary", 9 card "Death of a slayer" and then itīs the same for season 6, villains, gang (both sides) and then as I said earlier 9 cards "Life after death", 9 cards "Witchcraft and finally 9 cards "Spike". All in all 81 cards numbered 1-81. I know there are a set (or more?) called "The story so far" and thatīs my only guess so far. And the set is printed 2003 if thatīs any help.

Gotcha...the set you have is "The Story Continues".
An Australian company, Ikon, released 2 BtVS sets - "The Story So Far" and "The Story Continues". I have base sets of these stuffed away somewhere, but I never collected any other cards beyond the base sets for these. "TSSF" covers seasons 1-4 and "TSC" covers 5 & 6. I always wondered why didn't do a final set for season 7, maybe "The Story Concludes" or something.

If you're talking about trading cards, and not CCG cards, then it should be pretty easy to narrow down. Inkworks only produced 5 Angel sets - one for each season. But for Buffy, they produced one set per season and about 10 themed sets(that didn't revolve around 1 particular season). And then Ikon released 2 Buffy sets, which were discussed earlier in the thread.

Buffy Connections was my absolute favorite Buffy card set! Since I completed my master set(base set of 72, binder, promos, bonus cards, pieceworks) years ago, I haven't really looked at it in sometime. The fact that you mentioned made me go back and look through the cards again, which was a really nice feeling. I currently have complete master sets of Buffy Photocards, Buffy Connections, Buffy Big Bads, Women of Sunnydale, & Men of Sunnydale. I'm in varying degrees of completion on all the others, but I don't think there's any Buffy set that I'm more than 12 cards from completing. Now, if I can just track down that *ONE* autograph card I need - I'll have my Season 7 set complete!
