Blooded was written by Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder and is set in season 3.
There are some serious time line faults with this book and the show, or there seemed to be to me. Firstly, it's season 3, we know that because Willow mentions Angelus trying to kill her and her not being scared of him, and with Angel being back it can't be any other season. But Oz isn't even really in the book and is referred to as Willows new boyfriend...but they started dating season 2. It implies that Cordy and Xander have been someone physical, when we know that Faith was Xander's first. I even thought that the characters were a bit hit and miss sometimes. Some things I couldn't imagine them saying in the show was put into the book and it didn't really come off.
It was a good storyline though, very entertaining.
